The wind block collar adds a bit to the weight but is more than worth it. Works great on windy nights. Best stove I 've ever had. Cup locks into place so it's stable and heats up very fast. Heats 1 cup of water for me with 100 g fuel so I get 10- 13 meals from one small cannister.

This burner is absolute Best- In- The- World! I can light the fire in all weather, from summer to deep winter. Just a kindly wish from here: Make it a little lighter, and no system will be able to compete with this burner!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my windburner kit. And has traveled with me all across the country. However, it's stopped working for reasons unknown, and unlike a lot of other MSR stoves, there is no maintenance kit for this that I can find.

5 Cameron
Had it for two years now no issues whatsoever, best stove I have ever purchased! MSR really does make the best stuff.

5 Sparky
[ I upgraded from the pocket rocket to the wind burner stove and I am extremely pleased. More stable base than before. Boils water less than a quarter of the time and is very fuel efficient.

This personal system is lightweight, durable, reliable, and efficient. It's clear that MSR is the industry leader across all expedition gear categories and functions flawlessly in situations that might be the difference between success or failure. The cook systems are long- lasting and flaw- free. Go get one for your next adventure, be it Moto or bike camping, backpacking, climbing or water adventures.

5 Samuel M.
I use the whisperlite in winter for its reliability. Perfect for melting snow with a 2L pot. In summer and fall I prefer the ease of use of a canister stove with the pocket rocket.

5 James W.
Great product. Tried and true design. Reliable and easy to operate and maintain. Bacon on the beach for breakfast. Does it get any better?

5 Jeff B.
After a January camping trip in NH, where temps dropped to 5 deg. F, and I could n't get my MSR Pocketrocket to work, I purchased this lifesaver. Used it in February, again in NH, and will forever more carry my WhisperLite in the deep winter.

5 Aaron K.
Tried and true, it's obvious why the whisperlite remains the top expedition stove. Although it's quite different than the canister stoves, it was very easy to learn and get used to. Boiled a liter of water relatively quickly below freezing temps. Very excited to continue using the stove throughout the winter. I definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys winter fun like I do.

[ I was very pleased when receiving this stove. Nice small size for car camping, fired up very easily. Im not a fan of the igniter on any product, I always carry a lighter. But this one worked good. [ I bought this camp stove for camping off grid in our teardrop trailer. It is solidly construction and the high btu output means you can make a pot of coffee or cook your burgers in no time flat, even at high altitude. The stove is very solidly constructed and I like the fact that I can run it off LP and not those little gas bottles which offer little run time and create a lot of litter.

Long time Camper, restaurant veteran. Using stove for first time on current trip. Seems very sturdy and well made. Excellent temp control from low to big heat output. We have owned this camp stove for 14 years..... we use it for camping, but also to cook for large events at my kids' schools, and now for my school class. It's simply the best option for any outdoor kitchen. We love it.

[ I purchased a 14in explorer and converted it to natural gas. I wanted it to cook things in frying pans and not in the house. Things like fish. It works great and then I discovered the accessories and add- ons. I added the single pizza oven and it's just something else. Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I 'm enjoying the pizza now.

I have had my Explorer for 7 years now and it is going strong! We went from tent to Pop- up to Travel Trailer now and have only cooked on our CC. My Father- in- law and 2 brothers- in- law also have them. Have almost all of the accessories. My only issue is that it seems to get heavier every year?! LOL It IS the only thing we cook on, period! I also bought a CC WW smoker and the 600FTG as well!

I volunteer heavily with both the BSA and the GSA and needed something to be portable and have the ability to cook a decent amount of food. I bought the Explorer 14 2 Burner Stove And the full size griddle for it. It was easy to assemble, Easy to clean, and I was able to cook two breakfasts and a dinner with ease for a troop of hungry Girlscouts this past weekend. It also heats up water for dishes and cocao pretty fast! Looking back I wish I had also purchased the single burner griddle and the leg levelers. Overall a great stove. It is going to go with me on all future camp outs!

Great camping stove! Super compact and easy to use. Thanks to Dicks I was able to purchase this at a great price.

5 Patty B
It all looks good. I have not had time to try it out. I got it for emergency preparedness.

5 SaUr
In my opinion this is the best Coleman Stove. The clicking igniter is more durable than the push button type and it does n't move the whole stove when trying to lite- up. The wind deflectors are simple and perform as advertised, the grate is durable and provides adequate support. I expect to have 50 year life with this stove in which it will outlast me. I have been using Coleman camping products since 1963 and this retro stove is the one to buy.

I would say yes! The variety of fuels types is spectacular! 90% of the time i use iso butane or propane, but the ability to convert is awesome. Quick cook times, good flame control. I also have a whisper light stove for colder weather and higher altitudes.

5 allweather
[ The MSR isobutane cartridge is 20% propane so it works down to- 10F or better. Can tip the cartridge upside down to feed liquid so the propane does n't all burn off, leaving just isobutane that wo n't work below 11F. Has the liquid pump and hose so it will burn white gas or kerosene at any temp. The burner does n't sit on top of a tippy fuel cartridge and is nice and wide to accomodate larger pots, but narrow enough for the small pots too. Fuel cartridges are easy to find and kerosene and white gas are pretty much everywhere. The cartridges have a weight chart so you can determine the fuel level on a scale or just place them in water and read it. We had troubles before with a standard n- butane burner in winter, they do n't work below 31F. The only alternative is bulky and heavy propane gear. Included an aluminum windscreen and a nice aluminum pad to place the burner on to reflect heat. You can get tiny cartridges for a quick pack- in up to large ones for car camping. I had the international version many years ago and it worked great, but the cartridges are more convenient. Also, some national forests/parks etc. will not let you use liquid fuel due to instant shutoff requirements especially in fire seasons.

5 Bill D.
I love this stove and the versatility of being able to use liquid fuel or canned. If you could add simmer control similar the Dragonfly stove I would give it 6 out of 5 stars.

5 Linzy V.
I 'm crazy about my WhisperLite Universal Stove!! I love the ease of use, the ability to clean and fix my stove and how well it works every time.

5 Fake News
[ Although this is my first camping stove, I have had the opportunity to use MSR products before. I like it because it can do both canister and white gas. Good for both camping and as a means to cook when the power goes out.

I have a 14 '' 2- Burner and use on few fishing trips each year, last year we added the griddle and we are doing more that just frying fish. I 'm not sure if we talk more about all the fish we catch or the meals made on the Camp Chef. Our last trip we had a traditional fish fry, fish boil, and blackened on the griddle. Looking forward to our next trip.

I have an older 14 that my dad gave me about 10 years ago, we use it on our deck for year round cooking, last year I bought a new pro 14 for our cargo trailer, I have bought all the accessories and love that they are interchangeable, cooking on them is so much fun at home or camping, they are AWESOME, Thanks Camp Chef, John

5 Frozen 52
Pro 14 two burner cooktop Went to our inaugural Halloween bike ride and one of the guys pulled out a older version of the Pro 14 two burner cooktop and griddle. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.

5 mpotes08
Since we bought this for memorial day and didn ’ t get a chance to use it all summer I was starting to have buyers remorse. But after using it one long weekend I ’ m in love. We bought the griddle and the grill accessories. One of my favorite things is that which ever one I ’ m not using acts is a warmer as I continue cooking other food. I literally planned an entire three day weekend of cooking around my new camp chef cooking system even though we have a camper with a stove and oven. I wasn ’ t sure I needed the pro with the flip out shelves but now I can ’ t imagine not having them. Worth every penny.

5 X3driver
Best setup I have ever had for outdoor cooking. The accessories that go along with it make it even better. The grill and flat top are great for making combos and taking camp meals up a notch.

Great piece of gear! I can fit my stove, pump, repair kit, heat shield, matches and coffee mug( mug has coffee/whitener& sponge in it) in my pot set. Along with being compact, this stove is easy to light, quiet and well built.

Well, I ’ m on year 29 with mine Yikes! Once I ask a cab driver in Mexico on a volcano climbing trip to stop at a gas station so we could get fuel That was 1995 I just used it for three days this week on the lakeshore trail into stehekin WA That ’s 2024 Still works great!

5 Timothy T.
I have used my the WhisperLite International for something like 20 years! From bicycle 🚴 camping 🏕 trips to Florida hurricanes 🌀 I used it for about three weeks straight when hurricane Charlie took out the power. About the only thing I have done to the stove is clean it maybe 🤔 every year or so and I think 🤔 the only problem I have had was I had to replace one little O- ring! That reminds me I have to replace the O- ring that I removed from the little service kit. I recommend that service kit I replaced that O- ring at night during a hurricane 🌀 power outage and all those O- Rings are special and your not going to find one when you roll into a campground at 02: 00 🕑 AM in the rain 🌧 on your bicycle 🚴 and all you want to do is get something to eat and go to sleep 🏕 But if the stove needs an O- ring it is going to be cold Mountain House Chicken 🐔 Teriyaki 🤢 and a cold breakfast 🍳 So you need to get the service kit at least for peace of mind!

5 Stacey S.
This stove is solid! I bought it to replace my 30 year old WhisperLite stove. No more empty fuel canisters to try and recycle and the cost of fuel is much lower. Yes my original WhisperLite stove still operates fine, just went with a more modern design. I cold weather camp and you can ’ t beat a white gas stove in the cold.

5 Excessive Moderation
[ Love this stove. I had a MSR Dragon Fly stove for years, which is great for simmering or slow cooking gourmet backcountry meals, but `` very '' loud. Whisper Lite actually boiled water faster than the Dragon Fly, and its quietness is worth loosing the simmer option. With a little finesse, you can still simmer somewhat with the Whisper Lite. Best Liquid stove out there!!

5 Trip Leader
I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.

Great Stove. I own three total, but this one is our elk camp stove. We use it 3 weeks per year and it's buried in a stash on our property the rest of the year. [ I ’ ve fallen in love with this cooking system. It ’s honestly the best cooking experience I ’ ve ever had with a camping stove

5 Jaccob R
The Genesis system packs up into a small, fairly lightweight package. It is super easy to use to be able to cook an amazing camp meal. The ability for the different pieces to nest inside one another makes it where you never forget pieces. Overall the usability of it is top notch and what you would expect from JetBoil.

The Genesis system is one of my best kitchen items. I have both the basecamp( 2 burner) and the single system. Absolutely never fails, great click to light that lights even in high wind. The flame is extremely sensitive making high heat vs slow boil settings very accurate to cook with. It's small, lightweight and stackable. Highly recommend

[ Using the jetboil in our campervan, it ’s SO quiet, used to other gas stoves that are noisy, this one is quiet, efficient and easy to use! So happy to have found it!

5 Bruce H
It works amazingly, especially as a glamping- style setup, whether as a stand- alone unit or as a companion to the Genesis Basecamp setup. It has solid, consistent heating and even cooking flow. It also has easy ignition.

5 Eric J
This is an essential piece of camp gear! Easy to pack, although somewhat heavy. Works great and lights even in the toughest of winds.

Not usually a drive- in camper but with a few friends coming to town I needed a way to cook for 4 while taking in the sights instead of just boiling water for backpacking meals. I would describe it as: a way to have 90% of a classic camping stove in 1/4 the bulk. It's not a backpacking stove, and it's not a massive 3 burner cooktop, but it perfectly fits the niche in- between. It's nice and compact for its class, the piezoelectric igniter is great, and the pan is large enough to be useful for actual cooking of basic meals. If you 're cooking breakfast+ coffee you may want to consider taking either a classic jetboil in addition, or the apollo add- on. I intend to get the apollo add- on for coffeemaking purposes before my next trip

Solo Stove Bonfire Heat Deflector

I bought this with Fall approaching to keep us warmer and it really pushes the heat out instead of up! ... A bit expensive but on sale with a rewards discount, not bad, especially since it fills one of solo stove ’s major holes, spreading the warmth out to the sides instead of most of it going...

Bought this for Christmas have not used it, but I heard it works well. Can ’ t wait to use it.

Great addition to our bonfire pit. The only thing missing was heat coming at you while you say around it! Look no further! This thing helps push the heat towards the user instead of straight out of the pit and into the air. Love it!

5 Billster13
While we have enjoyed our solo stove over the years this heat deflector really improves the amount of heat you feel. I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a little more warmth from their fire.

[ High quality materials very sturdy can get hands a bit dirty after a few burns when you take it on and off. Other than that really works with heat disbursement.

This is perfect to stop all the ash and embers from raining down on you when you ’ re huddled close around the Solo Stove Bonfire. Highly recommend.

I am actually not a big bonfire person cause I hate the smoky smell. This had solved that problem and now I actually enjoying having a bonfire. I do wish though there was a size between the bonfire and the yukon.

The Bonfire is a great fire pit but right from the start I wanted a screen to control sparks. I looked at third party screens but was not overly impressed for the price being asked. This screen has some really great features including the lift off center ring and tools that make removing the screen very secure. It's a good value. The only snag was that the screen requires its own fire ring and the original does not fit. When I called I was told that the newly designed ring should have been included in my order. Well people make mistakes but what's important is how those mistakes are addressed. I literally had the correct ring on my doorstep in about 24 hours after my call. I 'm in Virginia and this shipped from Pennsylvania so your experience might vary. The thing is they had shipped the ring within hours of my call. Way to go SOLO!

I was ready to build a fixture for my Solo Bonfire to be able to cook with my large 30 '' wok until I found the spark arrestor. This is absolutely what I need to put the wok on to cook! Thank you for designing this accessory.

Great performance on every use so far. The stove is tried and true so no real surprises there.

Absolutely love this stove! It ’s so easy to use and has never let us down. It ’s size makes it must for backing packing! We love having the built in igniter, it ’s one less thing you must carry with you! If you are looking for a reliable lightweight stove, look no further!

5 Brian Y.
This is a fantastic stove. I 've used many and this one is my favorite. Its slightly heavier than others I have but like the igniter( never though I would) and it also saves us fuel usage which depending on the length vs canister packed can save on some weight. Really solid stove, a bit pricy in the world of backpacking stoves but extremely happy with it. Really decent wind performance too, though obviously try not to use it in direct wind.

It ’s been a while that I have been using this Coleman stove. The stove is compact, efficient, and reliable cooking solution for camping and hiking. It can be easily portable. It ’s lightweight, easy to set up, and provides reliable heat with its single burner. When have kids you have to be careful otherwise it is completely safe to use.

Easy to use, simmers great. Just the right size for my needs.

5 kayc64_4212
Used mine this morning because we had a power outage and was reflecting on how great a stove this has been. We bought ours in 2018 for an extended power outage after a hurricane. We ’ ve since used it for lots of camping trips. It still looks nearly brand new after years of use. It cooks well, is easy and simple to use, and makes the most out of a can of butane. The storage case has also held up really well. I think this is super handy to have even if you ’ re not camping. Great for when the powers out, for a picnic, or even travel. 100% recommend!!!

5 dee89_101
I recommend everyone have one of these! They ’ re affordable and are great for camping or during storms etc! Super easy to use and the butane is simple to change and also affordable! It heats well and you can cook whatever you need to!
