I got these to replace my other pair of sheepskin boots. I got my correct size and due to the fur pile, they are snug... AS THEY SHOULD BE! I know over time they will compress and conform to my foot. I love these booties. Though a slightly narrower opening than I am used to, after a little wiggling, they go on and are beyond comfortable.

My original pair of Bearpaws for wide calves( different make) is starting to wear out after 5 winters. I found a wide pair I liked, and bought it in the same size. No issues at all! These boots actually fit those of us with wide calves( and feet). I really appreciate that the ankle tapers in a bit, instead of being the same diameter as the leg shaft. The waterproofing and stain- resistance has worked so far. I like that they 're real fur and leather, which is much better for the environment than faux. The wool inside is so cozy and keeps my feet warm without overheating. It's going to be very cold where I live over the next few days- high temps in the teens- so I guess the real test is coming. If you 're on the fence about these, just buy them.

I ’ ve worn these almost every day since getting them. They definitely stretch out a bit so I do wish I had gotten a 7 instead of an 8 but they are still super comfortable.( For reference I wear an 8 in Vans, 7. 5 in Nike Blazers). The height is perfect and I like that the upper part of the toe is a bit structured as I feel like they will last longer this way and provide a bit of stability. I am normally a size 8. 5 but I have a high arch and knew I had to go up a size for it not to be tight on the top of my foot. Also I normally hate shoes/boots with the Sherpa inside because my feet get hot, but these are actually nice. I have worn with no show socks and thick socks. Still not hot.
