It's a lightweight zip up. Keeps the wind off. Purchased a Large. I am 170 lbs. Hits right at the mid hip, with the tiniest room to spare.( A size smaller would be pretty snug, a size larger was too baggy and long) I am 5' 4 ''. Great for California weather.

Classy jacket, not too thick and not too thin. Very comfortable and tailor fit. Love it! I have it in black and loved so much that I got it in light pink too.
