The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.

For reference I am 5 ’ 8 138# and I purchased a size 6 I think I may have been able to wear a 4 if I chose to wash and hang but I throw mine in the dryer! These fall above the ankle for me! More of a stiff material which I expected. Hold their shape well. Flattering on the body. Wore them once so far and got compliments! Hoping they don ’ t pill as they go through wash cycles.
