4. 0 is the best base layer for the price. My kids are competitive skiers in the Northeast. Our winters are harsh and with windchill the temperatures can drop below zero. These are amazing! We love them. ❤️ My dad got my husband and I both a set for Christmas like 10 years ago or more. They are still in perfect condition. We use them for hunting, playing in the snow or anytime we have to be outside for long periods of time in the cold. When I go hunting and it's super cold or wind chill of- 15. I wear mine, my husband's and my under armour sweat pants under my hunting bibs. No need for a heater at all. My son told me he needed some bigger under layers so I automatically ordered him this set. He is going to be so excited when he gets the Christmas morning. If you have multiple children you definitely need to get these. They are such a good quality and will last for years if they are taken care of. The adults sizes are pretty unisex in the bottoms. Very impressed with this jacket. I used it as a lightweight winter jacket that I can travel with and use to keep me warm in the winter. It fits well and is insulated with wind protection and water resistant. It worked great walking around DC at night in December in the cold and wind. It also looks professional while not being bulky. The hood was nice for keeping me dry and warm. It ’s a great coat to throw in your carry on bag for travel or in your hiking day pack to be prepared for unexpected weather or when the sun goes down and your not quite to your destination.

Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.

I have used these for the last 3 snow shoveling events and they are great. They came with glove liners which, although not easy to get on, kept my hands warm on a day with below zero windchills. I have also used them without the liners on days that were somewhat warmer and they still kept my hands warm and dry. They are flexible enough to securely grip a shovel or a snow brush without any problem.

Was nervous an updated version might not be as good, as often happens when one buys a replacement for something they 've loved so much, but so far this one has the same fit and feel as my beloved first icebreaker shirt. As well, they are usually `` updated '' colors offered and I was glad this one is pretty close to the original.
