[ Normally I would wear a women's small/medium and ended up with a men's small in the trail hoodie. It ended up to be the perfect relaxed fit. Living in Florida, the material is perfect as it is not overwhelmingly warming. I found it to be just the right hoodie for morning and evening runs as its moisture- wicking too. I love the designs on the strings and think it really makes it more interesting versus just a solid color string. I like how the hoodie does n't cinch at the wrists and allows a natural arm swing during a run. The deep pocket in the front is always a plus when lounging. I absolutely adore the Rain Defender exterior fabric. Will Rain Defender keep me dry in a cloud burst rain storm? Nope! However I am often required to work outside when it is heavily misting, snowing and sleeting. I have a number of shirts and jackets with a sherpa lining. For me, it's the perfect sun hoody. I wanted something super light for hiking in the sun and just a little sun protection to prevent me from burning, because I still want the vitamin D. This barely weighs anything and I find it surprisingly durable for what it is. It's not tough by any mean, but I was worried it would deteriorate after a few uses. I have two minor complaints: 1. is that it's quite expensive for how simple it is. 2. The t- shirt version fit differently than this version, it was quite tight around the chest, I was expecting the same fit. The t- shirt version is great for working out in the gym on a hot day where they still insist you wear a shirt.

Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. Otherwise, warm and worth the upgrade.
