I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lbs with most of the weight carried in my thighs, so I often have trouble finding shorts that don ’ t squeeze too much and don ’ t ride up. These were long enough that they grabbed my thigh at the narrowest part by the knee, and didn ’ t ride up because of the nonslip band around the leg opening. These have a mid rise, which is not what I normally go for because I ’ m afraid they will fall down, but these stayed put! I got a size M for reference.

I recently purchased this set in navy blue and am honestly so in love with it. The shorts have a real quality feel to them and aren ’ t too short looking while wearing them out( which is usually an issue for me). They ’ re decently stretchy, I would suggest maybe sizing down if you ’ re on the more petite side- I know for me, I ordered the small and can live with the little bit of room in the waist, but I know that some prefer a shapewear like fit for these types of sets. Overall, it ’s a great little fit and I kind of wish I got it in other colours lol. The regret is real.

I love the feel of the material and how they hug the skin without cutting off my circulation. I wear them during outdoor walks and in the gym. Perfect for long running! The pockets are amazing! I can hold 3 gels in each pocket. Then there is room for one in the back pocket too! You can also put a phone there if you want. The only issue is with the material. The softness makes the shorts very comfortable, but the inner thigh rubs the material down a bit. If you run super long, like I do, over time that material may wear thin and tear a small hole. At least it did for me. Otherwise, if you do n't marathon train, then you 're probably fine. I 'll probably buy another pair when I 'm back to running shorter races.
