Bought for my 14 yr old son. For reference his favorite Nike model is the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 elite which began release in 2017. Since he outgrown his last pair in 2020, he has primarily ran through the complete Phantom elite line the last 4 years and always compared them to the hypervenoms. Since receiving these he ’s said they made up for all of the flaws of the phantom GT ’s and GX ’s. Also he complimented how the grip of the ball was better than the Hypervenom ’s which no clear he ’s tried ever came close to. Finally I am happy he ’s confident and satisfied with a clear that can provide what he needs… He wore a 9 in the GX elite start of fall and grew out of them by January so he started wearing my Hypervenom 3 ’s which are a 10. 5. We ordered him a pair of these lunar elites in a 10. 5 and his foot more skinny than full but hit gives him just enough room to grow through the summer and I ’ m sure we ’ ll be back on the market afterwards for fall. A feature I like as a parent is they have foam padding in the heel/achilles area! I thought that is an under- rated feature that adds to the comfort. We could not tell a weight difference between the Luna and the mercurial elite. Highly recommend!!!

I made the mistake of wearing them on an artificial turf and it jerked my knee due to traction and really tight grip on the ground. Bought for my 14 yr old son. For reference his favorite Nike model is the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 elite which began release in 2017. Since he outgrown his last pair in 2020, he has primarily ran through the complete Phantom elite line the last 4 years and always compared them to the hypervenoms. Since receiving these he ’s said they made up for all of the flaws of the phantom GT ’s and GX ’s. Also he complimented how the grip of the ball was better than the Hypervenom ’s which no clear he ’s tried ever came close to. Finally I am happy he ’s confident and satisfied with a clear that can provide what he needs… He wore a 9 in the GX elite start of fall and grew out of them by January so he started wearing my Hypervenom 3 ’s which are a 10. 5. We ordered him a pair of these lunar elites in a 10. 5 and his foot more skinny than full but hit gives him just enough room to grow through the summer and I ’ m sure we ’ ll be back on the market afterwards for fall. A feature I like as a parent is they have foam padding in the heel/achilles area! I thought that is an under- rated feature that adds to the comfort. We could not tell a weight difference between the Luna and the mercurial elite. Highly recommend!!!

[ Normally with these types of shoes, I have to buy them a little larger, about a half size up, I had n't done that for these shoes and had ended up with a shoe that is closer to the size I wear with other shoes that fit differently. Unfortunately, they were a bit on the tighter size but they hugged my feet well. I loved how my feet looked in these! Despite the size issue, they were still slightly comfortable to wear and to use when playing on the field. The design was unlike any other shoe that I have owned. They were definitely unique and eye- catching despite not having bright colors. I liked this fabric as it was breathable and fit the shape of my foot. My favorite part was the design. Unbelievable boots! My daughter wanted these obviously because what girl playing soccer does n't wear Nikes and who does n't love purple.... haha. Extremely lite weight and the sole plate is just amazing! Everything about this boot is juat top notch. BEWARE!!! The sizing chart is wrong! Their sizing chart in a US Mens 8 reads 25. 4 CM. As you can see below in my picture a US Mens 8 is 26 CM. I ended up getting the right size by going to 3 other sites and checking their size charts and all said US Mens 8 was 26 CM. So on good faith followed their sizing instead of Dicks sizing chart that is provided. Thankfully Dicks chart was wrong and I got the correct size. But if you are following Dicks sizing chart you will end up with the wrong size. Look at other boot sites and find the correct sizing until Dicks gets their straightened out.

The materials are fantastic. The Gripknit feels amazing( to the touch and on your feet) but also feel surprisingly durable as well. It provides really good touch-- my first touch feels amazing with these. Love dribbling at top speed with these. Played one time in a light drizzle and did n't notice a drop in performance of the fabric. The upper is Flyknit, which everyone loves. I personally love the low- top and am not a fan of the high- top collars some of the younger players like these days. The Flyknit is super comfortable and hugs your foot/ankle-- very secure and feels like an extension of your socks. The traction plate and the studs are top- notch as well. I enjoyed the mix of arrow or `` chevron '' and straight line studs-- my game is explosive and about making changes of direction on a dime, and I think the stud pattern suits this. Also, the Air Zoom cushioning on these is great-- super cushiony yet also super responsive( in other words, the happy medium). Sizing is good-- go true to size. If you 're able to fork over the money and afford the premium price tag, most definitely cop these! Amazing pair of cleats. I had more confidence in my movements and foot work off the ball, due to its light wheight design and superior grip. On the ball, these really do feel like an extension of your foot. The ankle support felt like it gave me greater stability for sharp cuts and step overs. The toe area somehow was giving me fantastic touch control and accuracy when juggling and striking. I didnt realize my boots were affecting my game so much till I tried these and on the first game with them I scored a hat trick and had numerous accurate passes and assists. Definitely not a placebo because especially when your older, lighter more comfortable and supportive boots will elevate your game for sure. There is a bit of a break in period, and I did feel slight discomfort where the inside stitching material for the lace loops was interfering with the top of my left foot, I worked out in these for an hour before the game to try and break them in, and by game time it was much less discomfort. Hopefully the more I play in them the more that goes away. I also have super wide feet and was nervous out the box cause the soles on these look really skinny. But they stretch and conform and I no issues. When Nike released the Luna's my daughter switched from the Mercurial. And she has been very happy with them. She wears the cleats daily and has them on anywhere form 4 to 6 hours a day as she has training 6 days a week and sometimes on Sunday or a game on Sunday and Saturday. She does pair them with grip socks but that is he preference. Her teammates love her cleats and they all have cleat envy. But my daughter just loves the feel of the cleats when she is running and turning and working with the ball.
