[ I can start by saying that after juggling for the first time Nike has added a new grit to the surface of the shoe and it is very grippy and sticky almost the feel to it to the touch even when I was picking the ball for the first time you can feel it. Nike has added the feature to the texture so you can have a better stick to the ball like if the ball is supposed to stay close to your foot, this is very nice. I ’ m impressed by how these cleats fit; I can honestly say that these feel like lighter boots than other cleats I ’ ve tried just from trying them on the first time they are really light on my feet. One of the things I noticed right away is that Nike grip knit technology, so it ’s basically the sticky surface that they put all over the forefront and towards the halfway point to the boot. This gives you a better touch or better feel in the ball during both wet and dry conditions and I noticed it right away when the ball was sticky to the cleat. This is also noticeable in the touch; in person you can feel on the boot. I ’ m really impressed how these looks in person, pictures online do not add the various special and cool details on the boot, these cleats also look very sharp and very athletic. I ’ m a very big fan now.

Some other indoor soccer cleats I have found to be a bit tight and uncomfortable while playing in them. However, these Zoom Vapor 16s gave me enough comfort and traction. [ Fit and feel: I typically wear a size 10 when it comes to Nike, whether they are dunks, air maxes, Jordan ’s or basketball shoes. The vapor pro 16s run a bit tight; if you like a tight fit, true to size will go well for you. But for myself, I think a half size up would give a little bit more comfort. I typically play in a striker role when playing. Quick stopping and cutting became a little bit hard on my toes after about an hour of play at my true to size, often feeling them cram at the top of the shoe. Design: When it comes to the design, the design is sleek and slim and certainly allows for fast paced play. Nothing too flashy when it comes to the black on black color way. The grip and support that the tread gives is great on athletic turf and indoor fields. Did not get to try in wet conditions, but feels like it would give great support and stopping ability as well even in the one conditions too. The tongue and ankle give way to a stretchier, more giving material to help with the flexibility sleekness to the shoe while adding much more comfort in an area that often lacks it. The ankle does feel a bit naked at times and some higher ankle support would be nice. Fabric: The material used on the shoe is nothing but remarkable. It truly feels like your foot is wrapped around the ball while dribbling when it comes to the material on the shoe. Very flexible as well. Despite the thinness of the material, it is still beyond durable and will stand many hours of play. Around the ankle and upper tongue, a lighter, stretchier fabric is used for added comfort. Very comfortable and flexible all the way around. Best features of the shoe: Overall, the feel of the shoe while dribbling and playing on the ball is top to none. It really does feel like you have your foot on the ball compared to other soccer cleats. If you are a lover of dribbling and fast pace play, you will certainly love these shoes. A little bit more ankle support at times would be nice. With the material used, it ’s understandable that the shoe would fit pretty tight to true to size. If you often play indoor or turf fields, I would highly recommended this shoe.

Unbelievable boots! My daughter wanted these obviously because what girl playing soccer does n't wear Nikes and who does n't love purple.... haha. Extremely lite weight and the sole plate is just amazing! Everything about this boot is juat top notch. BEWARE!!! The sizing chart is wrong! Their sizing chart in a US Mens 8 reads 25. 4 CM. As you can see below in my picture a US Mens 8 is 26 CM. I ended up getting the right size by going to 3 other sites and checking their size charts and all said US Mens 8 was 26 CM. So on good faith followed their sizing instead of Dicks sizing chart that is provided. Thankfully Dicks chart was wrong and I got the correct size. But if you are following Dicks sizing chart you will end up with the wrong size. Look at other boot sites and find the correct sizing until Dicks gets their straightened out.

[ Absolutely fire pair of cleats. Jeez these rock. I know Nike's `` elite '' line comes at the cost but you get what you pay for-- everything about this cleat is super premium. The materials are fantastic. The Gripknit feels amazing( to the touch and on your feet) but also feel surprisingly durable as well. It provides really good touch-- my first touch feels amazing with these. Love dribbling at top speed with these. Played one time in a light drizzle and did n't notice a drop in performance of the fabric. The upper is Flyknit, which everyone loves. I personally love the low- top and am not a fan of the high- top collars some of the younger players like these days. The Flyknit is super comfortable and hugs your foot/ankle-- very secure and feels like an extension of your socks. The traction plate and the studs are top- notch as well. I enjoyed the mix of arrow or `` chevron '' and straight line studs-- my game is explosive and about making changes of direction on a dime, and I think the stud pattern suits this. Also, the Air Zoom cushioning on these is great-- super cushiony yet also super responsive( in other words, the happy medium). Sizing is good-- go true to size. If you 're able to fork over the money and afford the premium price tag, most definitely cop these! Amazing pair of cleats. [ Just some background about me. I 've played soccer for majority of my life at a high level and now enjoy coaching all age groups. Soccer basically became my personality because its all I ever had time to do. Over the years I have worn so many different brands and styles of cleats but they never lasted long because of how hard I play. However once I found mercurials especially the vapor model I have never once considered another boot. I have worn mercurials for easily 20+ years now and am extremely picky with what I use. I was hesitant when I saw how thin these new boots have become. In the past I was known to tear through sturdy leathers with my aggressive playstyle. Much to my surprise, the lightweight and socklike feel is a massive positive. My foot feels protected while still allowing me to be able to move or kick the ball any way I want without losing my touch. The ankle collar took me some getting use to because I 've always worn the low cut models. The support is amazing, especially for my worn out joints that have been through more than their fair share of injuries. The ankle collar does not restrict ankle mobility or movements; it just gives the right amount of stability. Another thing I loved about these boots were that there was n't a tongue so you feel the ball almost like you are barefoot without the sting of kicking a ball barefoot. You slide them on like a sock and adjust the laces the way you want. The laces are exposed but that is how I personally prefer it. The laces are thin and not in the way at all. As for the studs they were able to handle the lack of grass here in the desert and kept me from losing traction when making quick cuts or sprinting. When Nike released the Luna's my daughter switched from the Mercurial. And she has been very happy with them. She wears the cleats daily and has them on anywhere form 4 to 6 hours a day as she has training 6 days a week and sometimes on Sunday or a game on Sunday and Saturday. She does pair them with grip socks but that is he preference. Her teammates love her cleats and they all have cleat envy.
