But with that said, they are extremely comfortable and perform really well out on the pitch! I am a goalie and feel confident and comfortable in these! The fit is very secure, which is important to me when I play. I get good traction and know that my feet are not going to slide around inside the cleat. The design is super sleek and clean! And I love that they are lightweight. Furthermore, the fabric and fit was easy to break in and wear to play pretty much immediately. I will say, like most athletic shoes when then get wet, they do retain a hefty smell after a rain game. I did not try washing them but would be interested if that would help the smell. I have the lavender/ green color which is sick and stands put on the field nicely. I feel that I have gotten great value and playtime with these! I ’ m able to wear and practice daily in them with 2 games a week, these cleats are durable and have sustained a lot of use at the end is the season!! This is rare and a big plus. I always enjoy having the sock as part of the boot so I feel like I will not run out of the boot. The grip on the outside provides a great touch on the ball. The studs seem a bit long, but this is not a deal- breaker. Personally, I would change the colour because purple is one of my least favourites. overall, though, this is a solid boot for me.

When Nike released the Luna's my daughter switched from the Mercurial. And she has been very happy with them. She wears the cleats daily and has them on anywhere form 4 to 6 hours a day as she has training 6 days a week and sometimes on Sunday or a game on Sunday and Saturday. She does pair them with grip socks but that is he preference. Her teammates love her cleats and they all have cleat envy. But my daughter just loves the feel of the cleats when she is running and turning and working with the ball.
