You will not regret buying these shorts! I needed to refresh my running collection and ordered several different styles of shorts to try. I returned some much more expensive shorts( very popular brand name) to the store and decided to browse around while I was there. I am so glad I stumbled upon these shorts! They are the most comfortable and best fitting I 've ever owned. The knit waistband is perfection-- does n't dig in, is high- waisted enough that it looks cute with crop tops. The body the shorts are a very lightweight material-- if I had to dig for a negative, it's that they are SO light and airy and sometimes when I 'm running at the gym, I 'll just do a quick glance over my shoulder to make sure I 'm covered. I always am, but they are that breathable and light. But not see- through or sheer. I did buy black and the dark red and ca n't confirm the see- through qualities of the lighter colors. For size reference, I am 5' 6 '', 138#, a 6 in most pants and I bought a medium. I probably could 've gone with a small, but I do n't like things to cut into my waist. The waistband does n't stretch out with wear, so I think the size is perfect.

[ Upon trying on the Nike Sportswear Essential Woven Trend Short, the fit and feel are appropriate and accurate sizing. The length sits nicely inches above the knee and is comfortable. Design is a mix of athletic leisure and street- wear. Seems very versatile to wear in many different occasions. The fabric seems strong, durable and comfortable. I am able to move easily and comfortably throughout the day. I like the way it sits on my waist but still has room so it ’s not restrictive of my movement. The waist is also comfortable and stretchy. Some things I ’ d consider changing would be changing the string around the waste to something more stable and possibly adding some type of dongle at the end of the string for aesthetic effect. I bought these before leaving to travel for 8 months. These shorts( and a pair of Prana pants) are my favorite bottoms to wear and I have worn them in 12 countries( and counting), so they have had a LOT of wear. They are great for hiking, sight- seeing, and everyday use. I was worried about ordering them online without having the chance to try them on. However, their fit is great. I was also disappointed that when I ordered them the only color in my size was Earthtone. However, I am actually happy with the color and think it looks better in person. I have hand washed them, line dried, machine washed, and machine dried. They dry quickly, have a bit of stretch( which is great for being active), and did n't show the massive amounts of sweat in hot, humid climates. Honestly, these shorts have paid for themselves. I have also received many compliments about this pair of shorts.

I love TNF wander shorts. A few summers ago they came out with two pocket version which were awesome. These are perfect for hiking, working out, and kayaking( super quick dry) or any outdoor pursuits. These are linerless which I prefer and feel comfortable. I recently purchased a pair of ferrosi shorts, 7 '' length. I 'm 5' 4 and I think the length is great. They are come to a couple of inches above my knee( long enough that there is no inner thigh chaffing) and the shorts are n't too tight in the leg opening( I 'm more curvy vs slim in the thigh). I have n't had a chance to use them heavily yet- will update if I see the need, but expect that they will be great based on what I 've seen so far.

[ Amazing, amazing, amazing! So these are great for pregnant, postpartum, or anyone with a bit more in the front. I love the feel of the material and how they hug the skin without cutting off my circulation. I wear them during outdoor walks and in the gym. In both cases the pockets hold my phone, keys, earbuds, etc. I have fluctuated weight and at each stage I can still wear them comfortably. I have washed and put in the dryer but I would recommend for longevity to air dry only( or lay on top of a dryer). These are the best for extremely active people or for someone who wants to run a few errands. My favorite unconventional use is to wear to the airport layered under some sweatpants for extremely comfortable travel days.

I have already told so many people about these shorts. I swear if they discontinue them I will be devastated! The inseam is perfect, no rolling up and therefore no chafing. The waistband is also perfect, no rolling down. These shorts stay exactly where you want them. Not to mention the pocket space! What I love:( 1) the pockets are amazing- all women's bottoms should have such great, deep pockets, with a mix of zipped and buttons! LOVE that! Who knew!( 4) Stretch- the fabric overall feels great and stretchy and durable.( 5) Colour- I got the navy, and they just look so nice, with the little logo icon fox standing out nicely against the dark blue. My husband even commented on the colour.( 6) The waist sits perfectly- not too high, not too short. Hits a nice spot.. Why not a 5- star review? Because I REALLY want some elastic/stretch in the waist. I love my Stina trousers, which are comfortable all day due to the small elastic sections they have put into the waistband. These shorts are comfortable for a while, but the lack of elastic in the waist means I start feeling the waist/button dig in after a few hours, or during different positions/activities. They just need to fix this, and I would be buying all the colours and getting rid of all my other shorts!. Should you buy some? I think it's worth getting a pair, for sure. Functionality, quality, and flattering fit are superb. I wo n't be buying a second pair in hopes that Fjallraven will make the EXACT same shorts with some elastic in the waist! Fjallraven, please do n't change a thing about these except put elastic in the waist!!!
