Last year she decided that helmets were unnecessary and did not really provide much protection and that their effectiveness was overrated. I never wore a helmet so it was no concern to me. While i did not own a helmet my wife has a helmet that she Periodically wears, mostly when biking with her parents, who wear helmets. I am pretty sure it is the first helmet ever made. I actually think it is older than she is, possibly a hand me down from a much older sibling who likely never wore it. While It was actually nice peace of mind having it on, it fit and felt terrible. As i was signing up for another ride requiring a helmet I decided to buy a proper helmet. I started looking and found a signal in white at DSG. I bought it and tried it on and was satisfied with how it fit. I did not wear it until my ride that required it. Finally i wore it on the ride, WOW It had an awesome fit and i was happy with the number of vents and how light it was. Darn it is so well vented light and comfortable you dont even know you have it on. Yesterday we decided to take an all day ride and i said that I would wear my new helmet so of course my wife wore hers. Halfway through she asked …no begged me to try my helmet. On several occasions she mentioned how nice it was compared to her ancient helmet. When we switched back she only wore her helmet briefly before removing it and hanging it on the handle bars and announcing she wanted a new helmet too. Any questions just ask my wife.

Being a motorcycle lover, i 've always loved all things Smith. And my Convoy is a perfect example: great fit, visor does not get in the way of your view and it's lightweight! I prefer it over my Fox Speedframe, which is heavier and the visor's too big and sometimes obstructs the view, especially when going downhill. Next helmet will be another Convoy!!

This is both my first Giro brand helmet and my first MIPS technology helmet. I like how Giro has the side straps set already so that's two less buckles to adjust and loosen on their own. Coming from Bell helmets I had to get used to adjusting the straps by pulling to center them each wear no biggie for better comfort. Speaking of comfort the dial to tighten in the back is much better than Bell helmets. The MIPS technology allows the helmet to move slightly while staying right to your head to reduce injury in a collision. Neither my husband or I wore a bike helmet in the past. This spring I bought an expensive bell helmet mail order and wore it two or three times before leaving it on the shelf for good it felt a little large too me and very uncomfortable. After i got my husband a speedometer this summer we noticed we were often going 20 mph or faster. Our family of 3 riders has a lot of STUFF! This bag gives everyone a neat way of organizing and keeping our gear separated from one another. The compartments and the small zipper pocket are our favorites. Everyone even has their own color! We use them as our daily gear transport but can easily see this working for an extended bike trip. The long carry strap is super comfortable and well placed. Also love the 3 top handles. If you do n't have the top zip closed you can still grab by the two side handles and move it around without dumping it.

As a loving wife I naturally worry about my husband ’s well being. The helmet is great. But like anything you wear, the fit is what counts. In my case, the front pushes my safety glasses down and out of my nose. My previous helmet did not have this problem. Again, I do not think it is a problem with the helmet itself, but you may want to consider visiting your Local Bike Shop( LBS) to buy a helmet you can try on with your glasses, etc.

[ I used this brand on my old bike and it stood up to ware and tear like a champ. So I purchased a new one for my new bike. It installs quickly and holds my road bike essentials; 2 spare tubes, 2 CO2 cartridges, mini tool, levers, car key and a few other small items. My blinking light easily hooks on the rear of the bag. Excellent product and a fair price.

I 've had the hardest time finding a bike bag to put my Galaxy S21 in. Everything I 've tried has either been too small or has bumped against my legs as I pedal. Fortunately, the medium Aero Wedge does the trick. With some careful positioning, it can hold my phone along with a bike multitool, tubeless repair kit, and a little bottle of hand sanitizer, without having to unzip the expansion zipper. I did have to fiddle with the attachment straps a little. The bag sits farther forward than others I 've tried, and I needed to lower it slightly so the zipper does n't get hung up on the bottom of the saddle.
