I love the fit and feel. Very lightweight, which I wanted, as a summer weight jacket. The stretch improves the fit and feel over my other bomber. The only things I would change is; Add the original bomber style shoulder pockets and tool sleeves, maybe even on both sides. A velcro shoulder patches with a cover that matches the jacket fabric to hide the velcro if preferred. Stretch cordura or something cut resistant to protect in the shop against sheet metal edges or on the street for self defence. Hand pocket designed more like the original without the flap. I did n't know they made a grey one!! Sweet I 'll be buying one soon. I love this product. I wear a petzl strato helmet for tree work, and a Stihl Advance for ground work. The strato is a buckled bike style safety helmet and Stihl is a hard hat type helmet. The `` ninja' mask as I call works with both helmets. I also wear it under my baseball hats. This is my favorite winter work accessory. It makes those freezing cold mornings not suck so much. One of the best features is that it quickly dries. I throw mine on my dash and after a ten minute trip to a different job site it's dry and ready to wear again.

This jacket is more than I could have hoped for. I operate a snowplow at a ski resort at night during storms clearing parking lots. When I get out of the tractor into what is frequently a howling blizzard, this keeps me warm, sealed and protected. It's loose enough that I can wear layers underneath if it's really cold and the whole thing is lined with nylon so there is no binding at all. The hood and zipper come up to just the right place on my chin to be functional without hindering. And when it's wet snow or rain, it runs right off and I stay dry. Amazingly comfortable. There is nothing about this jacket that I do n't like. Bravo Carhartt!

As for durability, it has held up fine, no tears or chunks taken out of it to date. I was needing something on the lighter side this time for doing some e- bike trail riding around metro Detroit and also something to match the camo paint scheme on my fat tire. This jacket's Moss color turned out being about as close to U. S. Army `` mean green '' as you could hope to get and I also really like the high zip neck and velcro adjustable sleeves. The fit was perfect too, as always. Since I have the sincere `` need for speed '', I was also duly impressed with how warm it was against the Spring windchill temps. I paired this jacket up also with some Carhartt fingerless gloves which is another story but the combo has worked out exceedingly well for riding. Wish Carhartt still offered the fleece stocking cap with a single layer. Not so toasty so I can work hard like shoveling snow without sweating like the double thick cap would cause. But for times that I am not exerting while out in the cold, this is a great hat. I own several, and just bought another. You can never have too many hats; one in the truck, one in each winter coat, and one in my backpack. Great hat.
