[ Love this jacket, in fact this is our second time purchasing. This one in particular we bought for a Father ’s Day present because the one I had gotten for myself was fantastic. The two blues look great together. It keeps you dry when it rains, the water falls right off of it. Even in down pours.

I have never worn a more perfect piece of clothing. I never imagined wearing long sleeves in hot weather while hiking. Hypothyroidism causes me to sweat profusely and embarrassement. After researching sun hoodies, I found the Crater Lake hoody. It was on sale, I bought it, wore it while hiking, it changed my experience... so I ordered two more!! Backpacked in Kentucky recently and the hoodies were a win for me. The material is thin and light, breathable. Feels great against my skin, wicks away the moisture so felt like I was n't even sweating. Sweat splotches were not noticeable at all. Will definitley explore other products. Thank you for a product that delivers.

I purchased this used a few years ago and it has become a staple for hiking, camping, travel, and festivals. After the first year I cut the drawstring and tied it in a knot, much better and more practical. The light blue color stains easy. Sometimes this shirt stinks to high heaven after short use, other times I can wear it for days without stank. Washes easy and dries quickly. UPF continues to work after many years of regular use and washing, it provides protection from the sun and mild wind. It's so soft against bare skin and comfortable to sleep in. I use as a base layer, except when I use to layer over tank top when it's hot, or wool hoodie when it's cold. The pocket and zipper is great. No complaints.

[ I wanted to get another pair of the “ Holly Pants ”, which I love and have had for many years, however Marmot has discontinued them. The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. I like the pants but I ’ d prefer a light soft lining which the Holly pants have and a softer outside material which probably is less water resistant. The Arche Rock pants have a thin material with no lining and they rustle when I walk. Maybe some of the stiffness will decrease over time. OK I have tried A LOT of different pants for outdoor climbing... these are hands down my# 1 favorites for warm weather. They are VERY stretchy and somehow quite durable- no tears and minimal piling after TONS of abrasive granite, limestone and tuff over the last year, and I 'm back ordering in another color. I love the high waist, the side pockets and that I can move so freely, including very high steps:) They are flattering, comfy and stay cool. I would size down if between sizes as the fit is loose. I would love to see some additional fun colors- teal, green etc.
5

Buy these, particularly if you 're a curvy outdoor gal! I bought two pairs a couple months ago and am now living in them, as the weather warms. Fabric is a little thin, but that's great for the warm, humid south. Biggest perk is that they work great on an active, but curvy figure. I ca n't do some of the other styles that are cut slim in the butt/thigh/hip area, but these look great and are super comfy.( For ref b/c it helps me, I 'm 5' 4 '', curvy, and wear medium Dynama products). I really hope MHW keeps making this style and adds colors, b/c it's now my fav of the Dynama line!

I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

My issue is n't with the pants which are great, BUT with the sizing chart- I am 6' 3 '' and 36 '' waist and a large size works for me but I have an 34 '' inseam and the chart recommendation is to get a tall size however I think regular would have been much better. The pant legs bunch up at the bottom when I have mid waterproof hiking shoes on. The OR pro deal is great but unfortunately they do n't allow exchanges or returns. I would liked to have swapped this pair for a large regular.

[ One of the standout features of these pants is the combination of durable GORE- TEX 3L and lightweight GORE- TEX Active materials. This blend not only ensures exceptional durability but also keeps the pants light, allowing for efficient movement in the mountains. The lightweight construction is particularly advantageous during hikes, as it minimizes fatigue and allows for unrestricted mobility. The complete waterproofing of these pants is another feature that I greatly appreciate. Regardless of the weather conditions, I can confidently rely on the GORE- TEX technology to keep me dry and comfortable. Whether it's a light drizzle or a heavy downpour, these pants provide reliable protection against moisture. It's worth noting that if you plan to wear them over clothing, it's recommended to order a size up for a proper fit. In terms of fit, the elastic waist belt and ankle zippers allow for easy customization. I can adjust the pants to my preferred fit, ensuring optimal comfort throughout my outdoor activities. The zippered pockets are also a convenient addition, providing ample space to stash small gear such as keys, a map, or a phone. Furthermore, the packability of these pants is worth highlighting. They are extremely lightweight and can be easily compressed, making them a fantastic choice for backpacking or traveling. The ability to pack them down into a small size without sacrificing performance is a huge plus. In summary, the Men's GORE- TEX® Mitre Peak Pant is a versatile and reliable choice for outdoor enthusiasts. Their complete waterproofing, lightweight construction, and packability make them perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities. Whether you 're braving wet conditions or looking for comfortable and functional pants, these are an excellent option. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking durable, lightweight, and versatile pants for their adventures.

I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

[ Ca n't go wrong for the money. Cut is perfect, unlike a lot of trekking shirts that have baggy upper arms.

Best all around shirt ever. Comfortable, Durable, and Attractive. Easy to hand wash, and great for Travel. Provides excellent sun protection for arms, and can easily transition to short sleeve if desired. I have used these shirts for 2nd layer daily wear for decades. I have no idea how many I have purchased. As the shirts age, I switch from everyday wear to yard work wear. I wear them until I can see thru them. Highly recommend. Will not disappoint.

I have awkward measurements, pear shaped and honestly have tried on all the hiking brands. This pair is just right. The waistband is flattering and comfortable, length is fine too. I 'm 5 ft 3 tall and 158lbs currently. Medium was just right and I can even wear a thin layer underneath for cooler hikes.

Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.
5
Sierra
These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium. I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. I have been looking for a pair of pants like this for ages and this is the perfect pant.

Bought to use as trekking pants on a trip to Aconcagua. Could not be happier. Lightweight yet durable material. No obtrusive seams. Pockets are sized just right. Light enough for hiking in the sun, but not overheating.

These pants are so cozy that I ’ ve been wearing them almost everyday while I work from home. I 've been wearing for a few weeks. These are turning into my workout shorts. Have done done a few base training runs and they 're comfortable and feel great. I 'm not sure I would wear them on a really long run but did 90min run in them and they were great. Will use them for camping/ hiking/ swim combo this summer for sure. I 'm a 33 '' waste and the L fits great.

I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. Got the shorts with the AirShell Hoody and together they 're a great combo. Would recommend as a all purpose trail short.

I recently bought this jacket for my trip up through Oregon and Washington. It pretty much either rained of snowed the whole time I was up there and this jacket held up to everything. [ Very useful for those days when the temps will swing a lot. Maybe you are starting activities early in the morning when it's cold but will be out as it gets hot and want to remove the legs of your pants to have shorts instead. Or perhaps you are hiking and going up a mountain and know it will get much colder as you proceed, and will want to change from shorts to pants. These are comfy for any such activities. My only complaint is that I think these run a bit small. I wear a medium in most pants and shorts( including shorts from Marmot), but these are pretty tight on my curvier butt and legs.

I am OBSESSED with this jacket. If you ’ re looking for something with all the gadgets and gizmos( drawstrings, extra pockets and zippers, etc) this ain ’ t it. This is a lightweight jacket and those extras have been foregone for the sake of weight savings. However if you ’ re looking for an ultralight jacket for hiking and backpacking?? Look no further. I ’ ve worn this in< 20 degree weather with just a wind jacket over it, I ’ ve worn it in 40 degree weather with just an Echo hoodie underneath, I have always been the perfect temperature. If you need ventilation after a climb, I just unzip on top and I ’ m good to go. Additionally, the fabric makes it easy for my pack to slide on and off which is a nice bonus. It has held up very well and I ’ m continually impressed by it! As far as I ’ m concerned this is a 10/10 for backpackers.

Best jacket ever!!! This is my go to for everyday life, backpacking, day hiking and worn under my ski jacket for extra warmth. I love this jacket. It ’s lightweight, packs down small but it ’s so warm. It ’s made with quality products and holds up to most activities. It does shed some of material from inside like a down jacket but that ’s not a big deal for me. The price is right especially if you ’ re on a budget. Great job OR, I own two and planning on another.

This jacket is super light and easy to pack and carry. I ordered the white one and the only con I would mention is that you can see the stuffing in the coat when you hold it up to the light. The white material looks a little see through in certain lighting. Would highly recommend other than that.

I picked it up at a fair price and probably would n't have bought it otherwise. I 'm glad I took advantage of the sale. It's a nice simple vest with a good fill count. I 'm not really a vest wearing kind of guy, but my son says this one looks great on me. The color gives Marty McFly vibes, but I like that. It contrasts nicely with dark greens, whites and blacks.

[ I received the Marmot Arch Rock Convertible UPF 50 Pants for free in exchange for an honest review, and I couldn ’ t be happier with them! When I got them, I immediately thought they ’ d be perfect for my mother- in- law, who loves hiking and travels to all sorts of unique destinations. After trying them on, she said they were incredibly comfortable and lightweight. She wore them on a hike, and afterwards, she mentioned that they were some of the most comfortable pants she ’s ever worn. The convertible design is a great feature, especially for fluctuating weather during hikes. The UPF 50 rating is a bonus, offering solid sun protection while still being breathable. [ This is exactly the jacket I needed: a waterproof shell that has good thickness to it. I 'm a 5'11 '' woman and the men's jacket fits my frame perfectly! I have broader shoulders than an average woman and find that, as a result, arm length, in regular women's sizes, suffers. Nicely made, quality material.
