I have this hat in 3 colors. These are my favorite hat! I have a small head, so I appreciate the Velcro on the back of the hat so I can tighten it. I 've washed and worn them many times and they continue to get softer and even more comfortable. They hold up in the sun, rain, and wash well. No tears, no pulled threads, no holes. I love to wear this hat around town or when we ’ re out on sunny days. It ’s very comfortable, and the brim holds its shape well. I don ’ t use it when I ’ m out gardening or mowing the lawn because I prefer my other Sunday afternoon sun hat that I can throw in the washing machine if it get dirty. That ’s not to say that I couldn ’ t use this for light yardwork. It would be great with the sun protection, I just prefer to not get mine dirty.
