These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

I got these pants in anticipation of starting a season of trail work. They held up through an entire season of rock work, which was pretty impressive. The material was relatively breathable for being so durable. [ There is a little cushion in these socks that makes them extra comfy. I wear a 12- 12. 5 in most shoe brands and bought these socks in size XL. The fit is great overall, maybe a tiny bit large but nothing to complain about as the XL is intended to cover a range of foot sizes. For comparison I wear an XL in Darn Tough as well and they fit fine if maybe a touch small. I would definitely buy smartwool socks again in the future. They seem like they are holding up nicely.

The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match.
