I have a little extra length in the arms, which I love because it is a rarity. I feel like I have just enough room that I could wear a crewneck underneath without problem, but it's not bulky without layers. And it's long enough that it covers my bottom! I 'm usually between a medium and a large and I would not size down for a medium in this jacket.

[ There is a lot to really like about this jacket. Water and wind resistant fabric, lightweight, perfect as an extra layer for those cool mornings or evenings. I tend to bring a jacket with me where ever I go so I love that it is packable. Other packable jackets I 've tried can feel cheap or flimsy, but what I like most about this jacket is that there is no compromise quality of the material- it still feels great when I wear it. Thoughtful touches with the zipper design to keep rain out, the bungie cords at the waist for a more secure fit, and vented back to help with breathability really bring functionality to this piece. If there was one thing I would change about this jacket is the cut; the length is a little too cropped and the sleeves a bit baggy for me personally, but I know that's the style and it can work great for others.

I ordered my usual size M and I love the way it fits- it's a bit oversized/boxy throughout the body but in a good way. I love that it has a hood and that it's got a DWR finish so I do n't have to worry if I get caught in the rain while walking to work. The color is not as saturated as shown in the pics. [ This is my new go- to lightweight jacket, it's so versatile! The oversized fit makes it super comfortable to wear either on it's own or as a layering piece when more warmth is needed. The zipper and zipper pulls are also surprisingly sturdy and great quality for being a very light weight jacket. The design of the jacket is super cool and interesting, there's a few handfuls of design elements that make it stand out more than just a plain black jacket- definitely looks very modern with the color blocking of a very dark grey and black fabric, and the subtle Nike logo stitched in black on the back. The fabric has a windbreaker feel to it, which can be a little noisy during a run, but I prefer it as protection against weather elements. The weather has not been cooperating for me to test this jacket out with long runs( spring, where are you?!) but I have taken a few short walks/runs while wearing it and absolutely love it. I love how thin and lightweight the jacket is while still providing warmth and comfort. I love the oversized fit and design elements. I was between either a medium or large( I 'm 5ft4in and 155 lbs for reference) and went with the large but I think a medium would work for me if I wanted less of an oversized look. The fabric feels like it will be perfect protection from the chill of the wind on a sporting day! And I love the 2 way zipper and the spacious pockets! I ’ ve had this jacket for over two years and I still love it. I wear it most of the year with varying degrees of layers. I love the lower side pockets where I can tuck my hands comfortably( some of the other fjallraven parkas don ’ t have lower side pockets in the women ’s version). I love the variety of pocket types and locations and use all of them. I love the cut and style. I love the color. I have the blue one which is such a beautiful tone. And I love how durable it is. I spend a lot of time in the forest with thorny vines, conifer branches, and a rowdy dog, and it has held up amazingly. Even in lots of rain when the wax layer is up- to- date. It has faded a little. I ’ m not sure if the slight fade is because of use or because I need to be better at waxing it. Please never stop making this jacket.

So glad I have this coat. I live in SE Tennessee so winters are more mild than my original home in the Midwest, but the fit allows me to layer so I 'm confident even during my travels this jacket is a one stop shop. I bought a large. I 'm 5' 2 '', 34J and usually wear a M/L top, size 12. The large fits perfectly, again, with enough room to layer a sweatshirt or sweater underneath comfortably. It does n't look too big without the extra layer under it either. My ONLY super slight complaint is that the sleeves are way too long( which is a common complaint for me). If they were an inch shorter it would be completely perfect, but I think the cut of the coat is such that they 're meant to be longer anyway. It's a specific thing for us shorter folks and it's not anything to make or break the jacket for me personally. I went out of my way to pay full price for it just to get the color I wanted( it was on sale at a wholeseller but did n't have the Acorn color in stock any more), which is n't something I do often. I 've had similar coats that cost less but did n't fit as well, and the versatility, adaptability adjustability, potential longevity of this jacket makes it worth every penny.

I was looking for a lightweight jacket that was n't too bulky but would provide warmth and protection from the wind and rain. This is the perfect jacket. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it. I 'm 5 feet tall and 102 pounds. The Small fits great. I can wear the jacket over a couple of layers or a single layer and it works great. While I have n't worn it in warm weather yet, I 'm confident that it will work even in the summer when I want a light weight jacket.
