My kayak did n't come with paddle keepers so I bought one of these. It's perfect because you can move it to either side and move it up out of your way so you wo n't scrape your knuckles. We 've since purchased a second kayak; same as the one we already own and purchased another clip on paddle keeper.

Getting in I sat on the back of the seat, getting out I nearly broke my hip. I must have looked a aight. Fearing I might have to return it, I watched a few videos to see how I could be more successful. A couple of weeks ago I went on a 10 mile river paddle. It was wonderful. The drape is lightweight, easy to handle, and fits snugly onto the kayak with the adjustable straps. I like the end attachments especially which tightens the drape on each side. It saves me a lot of money and inconvenience versus the other full- cover or elasticized covers which over time would loose their elasticity and become ineffective. I have used this system for several years older version and now newer version. I bought these additional ones because I like the ratcheting system better than what came with my new kayak racks. These pull tight quickly and release very easily. I like the carabiner I no longer worry about it coming detached from the kayak while traveling. I highly recommend.

Excellent for my Perception Pescador Pilot, it's light and has nice grip for the hull so it does n't slip easily while pulling it, the straps are very good and easy to set up. The wheels will never go flat, and have a nice rubbery feel for good traction. It can hold a lot more weight than others so it's stronger.
