I bought these in white in XL and then in black in L. I like pants loose at the waist and need a long rise. I also got the short length, which sit at my instep( 5' 4 ''). The black ones in the L fit better as to the rise and volume of the legs, but I prefer the looser waist on the XL. I wish designers would give up the hourglass myth of women's bodies: If one needs a L for the hips, one probably does not have a 32 '' waist. The drawstring makes these wearable. Both are comfortable, though, and very light. So I will probably wear the black ones out more, and keep wearing the white ones around the house. Very comfortable style and fabric. I find myself wearing these most days in the Florida warm temps. Very nicely made, as well. I marked `` runs small '' because the elastic at the waist, IMO, should be about 2 inches larger. Very glad to have found this brand. CALIA.

This top delivers on multiple fronts. The fabric is lightweight and feels well matched to warm summer days. I have sweat in it comfortably. At the same time, I have worn it as an effective base layer for cooler temps, which can still arise suddenly in Colorado springs. The slightly gathered fabric effect offers forgiveness for some of my own belly and arm ripples. The edging makes the top feel feminine just the way I want it to-- I like doing athletic things with the boys, but I do n't want to dress like them. This top helps me stay covered without feeling frumpy( I 'm in my mid- forties). I have a 36 '' chest, 30 '' waist, and 40 '' hips. I wear a size M comfortably. It does not wear too baggy for the look, nor is it too tight at all. Given the forgiveness and stretch of the fabric, I could imagine sizing down without much issue, but I do n't want to wear this piece tighter.

I live in the interior of BC, Canada, where it ’s often brisk in the mornings and evenings. I have been waiting for a hooded version of a packable puffer that was still cute, and after enjoying other Halfdays products for skiing, I was excited when I saw this in their spring collection this year. This jacket arrived several weeks ago and has been great for everything I 've thrown at it! It has kept me warm, dry, and cute on rainy commutes to work, mulching my garden, and taking my dog on a field trip to our local forest preserves. It has been comfortable in temps as low as 35 and as high as 65 or so for me, personally. I love how lightweight it is, and that is compacts down if it warms up during the day and I need to pack it away for my commute home.
