My head is on the big side, and this hat is perfectly roomy and comfortable. It ’s great for summer! I wear it in the pool to keep the sun out of my eyes, and it dries quickly and the chlorine hasn ’ t caused any discoloration. I ’ ve also been able to toss it in the washing machine without incident( but I do air dry it). This hat is great for very sunny conditions here in the south. I it not heavy or bulky like some wide brim hats. Cleans well and very easy after use. Wear them all the time when out in the sun for extended periods.

I am normally not a Hat Person, but this one is terrific! I ordered the size medium in the color opal, which is a a light off- white. It's very flattering in every way-- size, fit, color. It shades my face without blocking my view. The fabric itself is lightweight= cool, not flimsy. So... can I give you 6 stars on this one?

I like the brim, just the right depth for protection, without interfering with my collar. I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. It does seem to run a little small compared to my other hats of the same size, so if you ’ re in between sizes, probably best to size up. Oh, and the sunglasses holder is awesome! After having them in a couple of sun hats, I would never want to buy one without.

I go on birdwatching trips, and on a bird- watching Safari, we were advised to be sure the hat we wore would n't obstruct the view of others in the vehicle, so I chose this hat. I have three of these hats. I keep one in the car and one in my backpack so I always have it on hand. I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket. It stays on well in windy conditions if you snap it under your chin. I wish it came in more colors. Fun ones. I would love orange or teal or fuchsia.

Large, and does not pinch my head. Lightweight and wide brim are great when I am working in the garden and on my daily walks, but our windy conditions eventually wore on the straw at the holes and ripped the straw, so I willingly bought another hat after a few years, since other hats pinch my head.

As a paddler and former kayak guide, I have a lot of paddle hats. Several models like this have a brim that goes down too far and makes it hard to see. This one is perfect.
