I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. VRST has done it again. I have some pants made by another company that are similar to these and I would choose these over the other brand. The fabric is softer and looks more like a traditional khaki pant. These pants come with a little extra room in the hip and thigh area, so they fit nice and comfortable. The material has a slight stretch to it, so range of motion is not limited in any way. The fabric is moisture wicking so they dry quick. The pants also have UV protection which is alway a plus if you are out in the sun. Beside the main side pocket on the right side there is also a zippered pocket to keep keys safe to they do n't fall out. The back pocket also has a zipper if you are someone who keeps their wallet in their back pocket. Overall great fit and comfort. I will be buying more of these.

These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. I do wish they were a bit thicker( like this version from years ago), but they are thick enough for construction work. They happen to be just right for backpacking in the Winds of Wyoming- warm days, cold nights. As to the comments from others about being too tight, order a larger size… Pockets are adequate for what I put in them but they are not giant cargo pockets. No offense, but size up. I ’ m specifically speaking to my thiqq boys that make noise in the gym. We love leg day, we do it because it allows us to hike for longer. We do it for the glutes. Trust me when I say it ’s not you it ’s them. Size up and thank me later. Aside from the sizing I love these and I personally think they are a great investment if you want to take your hiking attire to the next level. Ventilation isn ’ t the cure for everything and everyone sweats differently. The ventilation here definitely cured my souther sweat factory. I used these on a hike and my back was getting sweaty so on way back I ventilated and holy cow what a difference. You sacrifice a pocket and some thigh space by having the zipper to ventilate but this thiqq boy doesn ’ t like to chafe and am I happy I found these. I still give these a 5 star regardless of the size up. I do not like to have a sweaty bottom or back and this did exactly what I needed. Take the time and invest in gear that will last longer, haste makes chafe.

I have been lusting over these for several years but could never justify the high price. Eventually I tried on a pair of these in the Boulder store. I usually wear a 34 US, but they were a bit snug so I went up to a size 36 US and immediately loved them. Needless to say I purchased them and after wearing them for around a month I liked them so much that I purchased two more pair and donated my other work trousers. Nice!

i bought these at the start of the summer and wore them on a 45 day canoeing trip in northern Nunavut and i only took them off to sleep i got recommended these from a leader i had the previous year who wore them on our 30 day canoeing trip in northern Saskatchewan and said he couldn ’ t get enough of them they are amazing i loved every feature about them and the only thing that wore was the water proofing all i have to do is re wax them and they ’ ll be good as new again i extremely recommend these trekking pants

[ Shorts are form fitting, but not tight. Material is of a high- tech nature, not cotton. Dries fast and durable. Material is n't stretchy, but super comfortable. On a side note, I 'm happy that there is no back pocket. Strange at first, but now that I 've worn them a while I appreciate not sitting on my wallet. Plus, not having a pocket makes the shorts a little more `` clean '', too.

These shorts are great. They fit well and fabric feels great. The multiple pockets allow for easy separation of multiple items like keys, phone and wallet making everything easy to find. I have laundered them and they launder well. I would buy again and in fact, I did get a second pair.

I presumed these were the same sizing as my Vidda Pro trousers so ordered the 52 and they fitted perfectly. Very comfortable pair of shorts with loads of features. Look good on both the trail and around town. I 'm going to need a bigger wardrobe soon...
