Work boots, any brand I ’ ve tried many different brands over the years, usually last 2 months a few lasted 3 months but they were destroyed. This boot is extremely comfortable, still waterproof, little damage, light weight, fits true and helps with leg and back fatigue. Don ’ t pay attention to the troll who posted several negative reviews under different names, his job is to do that and it ’s really not truthful. These trolls are paid to rag others, because their products can ’ t compete. Besides, Columbia would surely warranty any defects. So, I have used many high end hiking boots from top makers costing twice, even three times as much. These are well crafted with good materials, are very comfortable and lightweight. I find no defects and were perfect in every way. Great traction on slippery surfaces, rocks and grades. Waterproof as good as any high quality brand. I 'm very sure no one makes a better boot for the money, even those higher priced offerings. Columbia works very hard at designing and developing fine outdoor merchandise at competitive prices…backed by years of customer satisfaction. What impressed me most was the comfort and quality.

[ I was finally happy to see a wide light weight hiker from Keen. For awhile most of their light weight hikers never came in wide, so this is very welcome. The shoe overall is well build with solid traction. They are sneaker comfortable out of the box but I do wish they had slightly more arch support. I bought my second pair of these approximately a month ago. My last pair I used to backpack the Himalayas twice, Colorado, North Carolina and North Georgia. I also used them as my go to hunting boot as well. They 're heavy duty and it taken care of will last for years and years. I brought the leather back to life on mine using mink oil several times. They look good with a pair of jeans as well and make a great statement when worn in. I hated to let my other pair go and buy another pair but they served me well for over a decade. I love these boots and they are perfect when broken in.

[ It's a nice shoe to wear walking. I like the look of it, matches well with some outfits. Only thing that felt weird was the sole. It felt thin towards the front walking on it. I just expected it to feel a little thicker. But it walks comfortably, so I 'm pleased with it.

As soon as I received Merrell's email about these several weeks ago, I was intrigued. I really liked their look and style; plus being waterproof was also a benefit. As soon as I saw that they had gone on Merrell's Holiday discount, I grabbed a pair at a great price. I 've been wearing Moabs for years and they have all been exceptional. I did notice that the footbed under the ball of my foot seemed to be a bit thinner than my other Moabs. However, it might simply be that these Moab 3 Luxe have a more aggressive tread. Either way, after a day or so the footbed cradled to my foot, and I 've been delighted. I still do need to get used to the newer thinner slightly flatter laces, and do wish they were a few inches longer.
