I really love these pants. They are super versatile and very light weight. I wear them to work when I want and wear them out to dinner with my wife. To be fair, I am 6 ’ 4 and I have a long torso and short legs. These pants seem to run a little shorter than others. These are a 38x32 but are about an inch shorter than I would like, but hey that ’s the style these days anyhow. I ’ ve been wearing these weekly for about 2 months now and can ’ t notice any wear on them. I would definitely recommend them to someone who likes to wear golf type pants to work.

Like any clothing, the fit depends on your build, but I love the tapered style — these make my calves look like an NFL running back's. I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

I 'm so glad I did n't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. I ’ ve put a ton of wear and tear on these pants with backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and general travel. For being as breathable and light as these are, they hold up to abrasions pretty well. I ’ ve had tons of branches, rocks, and trees slide on these without any major damage. The integrated shoelace/string belt on the interior of the waist is a great little compliment to the external belt loops, no extra bulk with a little extra security. One small negative I have for these are the elastic cinches at the cuffs. They ’ ve held up fine so far, but I ’ m always worried about losing one of the little clips that go on them. Just make sure you loosen them before taking the pants off and double check that the 2 pieces are still there.

I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

My issue is n't with the pants which are great, BUT with the sizing chart- I am 6' 3 '' and 36 '' waist and a large size works for me but I have an 34 '' inseam and the chart recommendation is to get a tall size however I think regular would have been much better. The pant legs bunch up at the bottom when I have mid waterproof hiking shoes on. The OR pro deal is great but unfortunately they do n't allow exchanges or returns. Initial observations. These pants are true to size. They fit great with a belt. I was worried about the boot hook and vent zipper. The boot hook is tucked away so that it is protected from accidently catching. The zipper pulls on the vents tucks away when open or closed.

Barents are by far my favorite as they sit quite high, but unfortunately they do n't make them anymore and Barents pro sit lower( so does Vidda). The Web is great because of the zippers... but the Midsummer pants are so light and look so great, my Kebs will most likely do n't see much of the sun. The cuffs with the drawcord are great. they will allow you you pull the pants up to your knee and fix them so you can wade in the water. The material is light and I doubt that it will hold up when you do some serious hiking and your gear takes a beating. But time will tell. [ So I initially ordered these to have a pair of lightweight hiking pants for the days when it ’s too cold for shorts but too warm for a heavier pair of trousers like my vidda pros. After receiving them I was really surprised with how light and comfortable they were. They look sharp enough to go to a modest dinner in but are also equally fitting for sitting around the campfire. The zippered pockets are one or the primary reasons I purchased them because I ’ ve had my pocket knife or other small items fall out of my pocket when sitting down more times than I know. Now here is what really surprised me about the pants. In case you didn ’ t know, Vardag means “ everyday life ” in Swedish. This I have found is a perfect name for these pants because I have worn them nearly every single day since I received them about a month ago. Because of their versatility I find myself putting them on first thing in the morning and basically going about my entire day without changing out of them until bedtime. They really do live up to their name of “ everyday life ” pants. I have slowly purchased several Fjallraven products over the past year or so including Vidda pro pants, Anorak No. 8, Organic cotton sweatshirt, high coast hip pack, and these pants. If I could only choose one Fjallraven product out of all of those it would likely be these pants. That said, every item I have received from them has been the highest of quality and gives me the fizz each time I use it. I ’ m grateful God has allowed me to own such fine items during my short time on this earth. In closing, my experience with these pants and Fjallraven, Kifaru, Leupold, or other high end manufacturers in general is to buy quality one time and be done with it. I own a lot less stuff now than I used to and my closet has very few items in it compared to most but every item I own is of the highest quality and I feel has enhanced my enjoyment exploring the creation we call earth.

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. [ Great for winter( only), not a lot of ventilation or breathability, but for the colder months, hard to beat. They are great at weather resistance though, especially if you use the Fjallraven wax. Plenty of pockets too.

My old pants were OR and lasted forever so when it was time for new ones it was a no brainer to go with these. They are incredibly comfortable. Very soft and very stretchy makes them great pants for any outdoor activity. The legs zip off easily and the pockets are great. Ca n't say much more about them. Outstanding quality and a great brand who stands behind their products.

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I like them, and they look good with my Scout leader uniform too. I went with the Morel color, as the Verde was a little too green for my tastes.

I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

Excellent pants. Thought the 34x34 would be just long enough. Shrank just a little bit after the first washing and drying, and now they ’ re too short. Why don ’ t you make 36 ” inseams?

Great pants. Fit well and durable. Heads up, the Ridgeline color looks brown online but is definitely more green in a brighter light.
