Thick waistband, oversized fit so the shorts are n't tight at all. I normally wear a small and would choose a medium for loungewear. But these I got a small and they 're perfect. I guess if you want more fitted you should size down. Otherwise perfect to wear around the house.

[ Comfortable but as said in other reviews, the side pocket is small. Too small for cell phone or a tennis ball. The fabric is comfortable but the shorts have an unfinished edge that so far is not running but the fabric does ride up easily.
