Bought the coat for my 10 year old nephew for the coldest days in Alberta, size L( he is 147cm). I like how warm it is, however the fit is strange. If the sleeves length is ok, then the coat is too long, more like parka not a jacket. If you go with smaller size then the length is ok but the sleeves are too short and not much room for movement( even though my nephew is slim). We tried M and L and took the bigger one. I love goose down and it is the warmest coat from my experience( I am always cold in Alberta). Please make it in bright colours or at least with light reflecting elements. Children should be visible from a long distance for a safety reason. Overall a good warm parka.

The shell does seem water proof. The water beads on the outside and does not seem to permeate. The fleece lining is warm, the color is very pretty and it is useful as a spring coat when removed from the shell. The size is accurate. It ’s a little loose on my daughter but that ’s good since I expect this coat will last more than one winter. She is medium height but very thin. She is happy. The coat is appropriate for Vermont winters so I am also happy. Definitely recommend.

[ I 've always loved the versatility of 3 in 1 jackets. Some days can be freezing in the morning, but lighten up by the afternoon. It gives me piece of mind to know that the layers will keep my daughter warm and that it's easy for her to convert it herself depending on the weather. I also love how there is the option to extend the length of the sleeves to grow with your child because we all know that kids outgrow their clothes and shoes in the blink of an eye! The colors are bright so that she stands out in a crowd. The outer layer is indeed waterproof. The only critique I have would be that although the inner layer is fuzzy and warm, it is thinner than I thought it would be( say compared to a fleece inner layer). But those things are difficult to tell online. Would definitely purchase again or something similar when she outgrows this one!

Purchased this a month ago and my kid who is super picky about coats loves it. He picked a crazy pattern that has a lot of white but surprisingly it camouflages the dirty fairly well. I measured him as well as his previous jacket and the fit came out just as expected. He is perpetually cold due to only wearing a tshirt and this coat keeps him warm in Michigan winter. The only thing I thought was a little concerning was the glove clips that are situated in the tiny cuff of the wrist in a small velcro hiding spot. Anyways they are 1- 2 '' so they make the wrist stiff if they are tucked in. But they actually hang out partially. I thought my kid would freak out about them hanging out or being stiff but so far he has n't mentioned it. If he does I will just cut them off! I have noticed one small tear forming on the zipper cover of the side pocket, my guess is my child threw himself to the concrete and the zipper pull covered by the fabric ripped under the force.

In the women's size, the arms are too long( small) or the tummy area is too tight because of the princess seams( XS) for the Better Sweater. I tried this on in an XL and it fit well but I just was not interested in keeping it once I realized that after washing it-- it would probably pill. I do n't want to deal with pilling.
