I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. Took a stroll down the igloo aisle because it was more of my budget and was surprised to see that they were actually made in USA! The cooler itself is great, it's small and easy to bring with you, but big enough that you can still load a decent amount of stuff in it and whether you use ice or the igloo freezer blocks, it does a great job of keeping things cold for a reasonable amount of time. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend this cooler for small day trips or if you need a lunch box. I recently purchased the 35 hard cooler to use in my car when I day hike and fish. I just put it to the test on a float fishing trip where the outside air temperature reached 91 degrees. I intentionally left the cooler in my car with some food and drinks to test how well it would withstand the heat. The cooler has a small ice bag and one Yeti slim ice pack. When I returned from the fishing trip after having the cooler in my hot car for 10+ hours, the food and drinks were still cold. Along with outstanding performance, the cooler was a one man lift when completely loaded and it's compact enough to fit in a back seat of a car if needed. Definitely worth it!

That way when we ’ re headed down the road we never have to worry about it toppling over and coming open or the wind pulling the lid open in the back of the truck. I also really like the handles. They have straps so they can extend out and up to give you more flexibility in how you hold it. It also makes it easy to carry on my own with my short arms. It of course has wheels to roll on and they are nice and large so it glides smoothly and easily. The handle extends pretty high. Up to around my chest. So I never have to lean down to roll it along. The inside is quite large both vertically and horizontally so that I can put a variety of different sizes and shaped items in. Watermelon…no problem. Six packs…no problem. Tons of stuff! And it stays so cold for so long. Plus the drain plug has a no lose cap and it ’s position much better than previous coolers I ’ ve owned. It ’s down at the bottom of the cooler instead of above the floor of the cooler slightly, so all of the liquid drains. We love this cooler so much that we gave away the one we had before this. I purchased this cooler for our summer car camping trips. I picked this one for its compact and space saving shape and the fact that it has the ability to be wheeled when full. We have used this for several trips now and it has held up outstanding. The cooler has plenty of room, there are only 2 of us camping even with the two frozen one- gallon water bottles we use to keep it cold. It ’s size works very well for use, it will fit on one seat instead of taking up the whole backseat. The wheels have proved to be very useful and the handle is sturdy. I know there have been some questions about sitting on it and I have to admit that I had stood on it. Probably shouldn ’ t have but things happen. It caused no damage to the cooler. The other thing I really like about it is the cup holders on top. On occasion we use it as a mini camping table and the holders come in handy, not only for drinks but small items or phones as well. As far as its ability to keep the contents cold, we have had no issues. We have not had the opportunity to use it in hot weather yet but have used it for 3 day trips. The frozen water bottles and one small bag of ice were more than enough for the long weekend. Overall, this cooler is a great buy, very sturdy and works well. I would buy it again should anything happen to mine.

[ This is a handy soft side cooler. It folds up small and doesn ’ t take up space. It works well for day trips when you want something that doesn ’ t take up a lot of space. It ’s perfect in the cab of my truck. One of my main concerns was this was going to be my main use for this type of cooler and I wasn ’ t sure if it will leak or not. I had zero issues with that when all the i e was melted and just had standing water in the bottom.
