Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. I was hesitant to spend so much on a pair of running shoes, but with the 2025 Tokyo Marathon on my calendar, I thought I 'd take the plunge. I really like the EVO SL and the density of the foam and heard the EVO was simlar. And it is. Not squishy like the Pro 4( which I did n't like). Amazing rocker. Nice lockdown even for my narrow foot( although I had to wear a thicker sock). It's a tad slippery on wet surfaces, I tripped on some wet stairs on the way to the start, but the weather was sunny and hot so no issues on the course( water stops were okay for the most part). I 'm running the 2025 Berlin Marathon and plan to use these again, and have a couple other marathons I might break these out. I think I can get 3- 4 marathons in on these as there's barely any wear after Tokyo( I 'm 5'10 '' and 130 lbs so that might have something to do with it).

This is the most comfortable of all the Glycerin series shoes I have had in the past. The cushioning is super, like walking on a sponge. But despite the softness I feel the stability is excellent, I never feel I am losing my balance. This review is from a senior citizen who uses them for long walks in the Florida sun and heat. Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

Used the Hyperion GTS2 for interval and tempo days. Liked them so much, they replaced my Adrenalines for recover and long runs( except when it's raining). No shoe will ever be as good as the Gel- Cumulus 23, but I am very pleased with the GC- 27. Mile after mile of spongy comfort, excellent lateral support, great energy return. No need to frequently stop and re- lace or re- cinch. Some might find the tongue a bit short; I found myself tugging on it the first ten miles. Other than that, as a regular Nike guy, I can say the GC- 27 is fantastic for long runs.

I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

My running journey started March of 2024. 2 years before this mt doctor suggested I take my heart fort a brisk walk. The first year it was once a week and the second year twice a week. The third year they suggested 3 times a week and that ’s when I felt that I might be able to run. The 1st 2 weeks weren ’ t pretty as I ’ d run 100 ’ and walk a 100 ’ feet for 2 miles. Then I bought a pair of the Ghost 16 ’s and never looked back. I prefer to run at the colder temperatures between 20F and- 5F. Any of the shoes in the Brooks lineup will be a great shoe. Just ask a lot of questions to make sure you get the ones that are comfortable for you. Someday hopefully I ’ ll be able to get a pair of the Elite 4 shoes and take them out for a run. Pun intended. The Hyperion Max 2 are amazing shoes. I usually run in either Hyperions{ 1st generation and 2nd) or Adrenaline GTS 24, 2 pair) for recovery runs. I have an arsenal of Brooks shoes, 12 pairs to be exact. I enjoy everything about the Brooks shoes and won ’ t run in any other shoes.

The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon. I also crushed my 5K PR in these shoes so I 'm loving how versatile and comfortable they are. Looking forward to trying out the Vaporfly 4 next! Love the slimmer sole design on Vaporfly shoes, and these are no different. My old pair( previous model) was a little snug, so I sized up by half a size( from my normal size which, interestingly, does work for the Pegasus), and these fit really well. I 'm not sure why these size a little differently that other models, but take note.

I can ’ t really say anything negative about these shoes. I was struggling with my old pair with knee and hip pain as I ’ m very flat footed. I did the online shoe finder and was recommended these, so did my own research on them online and decided to go for it. I ’ ve done 6 runs in them now and definitely feel like I ’ ve made the right choice, I no longer have the knee or hip like I was having in my old trainers and they feel good underfoot. I sized up as recommended which I ’ m glad I did( now) and I will say that my first couple of runs they did rub and cause blisters close to the ball of my foot where I ’ m assuming the arch support ends, decided to stick with them anyway and they ’ ve been a dream and incredibly comfortable. I definitely recommend and will buy another pair when the time comes!

Not being a stranger to On Cloud shoes, I bought these from the sale table( my size is hardly ever on a sale table at Dicks!). They fit perfect, color was not my first choice but could not resist the price. Like my other On Clouds, they are perfect fit, but you do run 1/2 size too small. They are very light, fit like slippers and walk and run very well as they cushion your feet. Like other On Clouds, be careful not to scrape or use them for harsh conditions as they will tear or a hole can happen. They are meant for light to medium wearing conditions and do very well at that.
