[ The shoes are form fitted to the foot and have a nice snug feel without being too tight on my feet to limit the amount of hours they are worn in a day comfortably. I used the initial insoles that came with the shoes and were quite comfortable, however once getting custom insoles specific to my foot, I would say these could very well be the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned. The foam base is not over- sized and provides good foot and ankle support while walking/running. The shoes are very light weight and have good breathability with the upper portion of the shoe being primarily a mesh type material that allows for good air flow and helps to keep your feet cool while wearing, even though they fit snugger than most pairs of shoes.

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..

I was hesitant to spend so much on a pair of running shoes, but with the 2025 Tokyo Marathon on my calendar, I thought I 'd take the plunge. I really like the EVO SL and the density of the foam and heard the EVO was simlar. And it is. Not squishy like the Pro 4( which I did n't like). Amazing rocker. Nice lockdown even for my narrow foot( although I had to wear a thicker sock). It's a tad slippery on wet surfaces, I tripped on some wet stairs on the way to the start, but the weather was sunny and hot so no issues on the course( water stops were okay for the most part). I 'm running the 2025 Berlin Marathon and plan to use these again, and have a couple other marathons I might break these out. I think I can get 3- 4 marathons in on these as there's barely any wear after Tokyo( I 'm 5'10 '' and 130 lbs so that might have something to do with it).

Reluctantly switched shoe brands after more than 20 years running in Nike. My favorite shoe was the Nike streakfly, before that, it was Nike free ’s. When Nike changed up the streakfly and added a carbon fiber plate, it was time to find a new shoe. But nothing in Nikes lineup compared to them. I need something flexible and lightweight. Without all the marshmallow cushion and carbon fiber plates adding stiffness. Something with relatively low heel- toe drop. These shoes are dying out. I decided to give these a try. It was between these and Saucony Kinvara 15. The only reason I didn ’ t go with the Saucony, is because they don ’ t offer a trial period on running shoes. And I ’ m glad they don ’ t now, because I am more than pleased with how these felt. They have a bit higher drop than I ’ m used to. I normally go for under 7mm. But honestly, I didn ’ t even notice it. These were on the upper end of weight that I normally go for also, but felt very lightweight on my feet. I was concerned about flexibility, but that also surpassed my expectations. I did an easy 5 mile run and my legs felt strong and lively. I could have kept going. I have always gotten “ hot spots ” on my toes when breaking in a new pair of Nikes that would require mole skin wrap for a while, but no hotspots spots at all with these! The toebox has ample room to let your toes spread. My new go- to shoes!

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

No shoe will ever be as good as the Gel- Cumulus 23, but I am very pleased with the GC- 27. Mile after mile of spongy comfort, excellent lateral support, great energy return. No need to frequently stop and re- lace or re- cinch. Some might find the tongue a bit short; I found myself tugging on it the first ten miles. I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon. I also crushed my 5K PR in these shoes so I 'm loving how versatile and comfortable they are. Looking forward to trying out the Vaporfly 4 next! I followed the recommendation to size 1/2 size up and I 'm glad that I did. My feet are moderately wide so they fit perfectly!

I love Brooks in general but these shoes are amazing. I get all of my running g shoes a 1/2 up so I would recommend that. They do have a carbon plate but the cushion helps a lot from hurting.

This is my 3rd pair of GTS 23, and I really enjoy them. The balance between lightweight and adequate cushioning is ideal for me. I would suggest going up a half size over what you would normally choose at `` static '' fitment. I do wish the soles were more durable, but otherwise they are exceptional.

Great shoes for Planter fasciitis, I had the Gel Kayano shoes, but the pain was n't improving. Got the GT- 4000- 3 and the pain was less, added Dr. Shools Planter fascitis inserts and further improvement. Im seeing continued improvement the longer I 'm were the shoes.
