Fast. Currently running in Invincible 3s and Infinity Rn4s, I actually bought these just to have. As an older runner with knee arthritis, I need good cushion. I tried these out on a 6 mile treadmill run and wow- these shoes are quick!! There is great support and the sole is perfect no matter where your foot strikes.( I ’ m a mid- forefoot striker). And they are super light; they feel much lighter than my other pairs( above). Looks like I ’ ll be using these for speed work. Kudos again Nike!

Okay I definitely struck gold when I chose these Nikes for my next run the way they hug your feet is simply perfect design they are so lightweight I have nothing on when wearing them. They also promote comforting heel security for some reason I guess just the way they hug so well. You can throw them on faster than a flip- flop and they stick to your foot harder than glue. Hey if you are looking for comfort and performance out of your shoe. This shoe is one of the best cushion shoes next to the Nike signal d/ms/x. Especially on the treadmill it gave me extra cushion and spring with every step. I run about 3 miles a day on treadmill so it was a wonderful experience even out the box with no break in.

Love the arch support on these and the price point. Although they ’ re not the best looking shoe to wear, this shoe is definitely made to put in work. Minor slippage on my right foot as it ’s slightly smaller than my left foot. Toe cap is not your average Nike narrow one. It is a little wider( assuming it ’s for when your toes expand while running). They fit differently, but if I were to go. 5 smaller my big toe would definitely hit. I went true to size and I always fit into their narrow shoes( Nike).

If yours squeak, try some baby powder between the insole and sole. I think these have a glued down insole if remembering correctly, but i think i peeled them up in mine. Put baby power between the layers and try to get it to go between the sole from the upper and the foam of the cushioning/midsole where they are sewn together. Sometimes there are vent holes as well. If you get them really wet/dry and that gets washed out it will return some eventually but you can redo it. Ive had several different styles of squeaky shoes and this works. The squeak is between the upper sole and midsole and not the outer sole and the ground like most people think. That is why they squeak on any surface. Had these shoes for about a year and a half now and used and abused them. Feels pretty much as good or better than pegasus i had, although it is hard to ever get a direct comparison. Ive worked and walked a lot in them and usually feet feel as any other shoe Ive ever had. I coach and do a lot of outdoor work.

[ The zoom x technology in these sneakers is the best thing! It feels like I ’ m walking on clouds. There is a spring to the shoe and it allows you to keep your form as you walk or run. This is easily one of Nike ’s best designs for a running shoe. I can practically live in these shoes. I throw them on to run errands in biker shorts and a sweatshirt or to the gym for a cardio session. If I could change anything it would be the white netting as it gets dirty pretty quickly. So choose a different color if possible.

purchased from nike, not Dicks. But i have seen a lot of non- typical reviews that may dissuade someone from giving these shoes a chance. I have over 300 damage- free miles on these shoes and i am just now looking at getting a replacement pair. not due to damage, but just due to the zoomX foam losing its `` springiness '' which is typical for it over time. I started wearing these shoes coming from wearing nike free's for years and just wanted to give something else a try that is lightweight and without a carbon fiber plate. These shoes will not `` destroy '' your ankles if you are already adept to wearing a minimalist- style shoe. These are not true minimalist, but they are very lightweight, lighter than my minimalist shoes, and have a very low heel- toe drop. Both of these specs can compete with minimalist shoes. Coming from wearing minimalist shoes, my ankles, feet, and lower legs are strengthened to adapt to the less cushioning and stability. If you transition to these shoes straight from wearing `` traditional '' trainers, there will be an adjustment period and you may decide its not for you. That is not a knock on the shoe, but more of a characteristic of this style of shoe. I transitioned to these shoes pretty seamlessly from my Nike frees. Streakfly's are the lightest shoe Nike makes, and extremely flexible. Like wearing socks. This is what i look for in a shoe, and something to consider for anyone looking at giving these a try. It is a very fast shoe, but it will lose its responsiveness over time due to the exposed ZoomX foam. They can still be used when this happens though. I am not happy that Nike decided to add a carbon fiber plate to the new Streakfly's, although Nike did make the shoe even lighter. I uses these shoes as a daily trainer and do not want to run with a carbon fiber plate every time, this can cause injury. i am currently looking for deals on these shoes from other sellers because they are not for sale through Nike anymore and i want to pick up another pair before they are completely gone. Bottom line, if you are someone that is already used to wearing a lightweight, flexible shoe, with low drop, you should really give this shoe a try. If not, there will be a transition period before you can wear this shoe all the time. When i transitioned to minimalist, i went through several shoes of gradually decreasing weight and drop in order to let my body strengthen and acclimate.

From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. I 'm a flat- footed monster with wide feet and if the shoe does n't fit while I 'm running, it can get extremely painful. The Pegasus always seem to deliver for me. Neutral running shoes work the best for my flat feet and I 'm so happy with my purchase. I look forward to using this bad boy as my daily. I 'm 5' 1 '', and wear a 6. 5 in womens running shoes. Size up half a size for wide footed monsters.

One of my favorite so far. Ranks up there with the Asics Novablast but maybe a little bouncier which is a good thing to me. I used to always run in Pegasus, but then I was having problems with the heal counters messing with my achiles. The Invincible puts no stress at all on my Achilles, and is still a pretty fast shoe for a mid- striker like me. Even with the high level of cushioning, it feels stable and is n't as sloppy as the Asics Nimbus was for me. For reference, I have a high- arch foot that is probably on the narrow side, weigh 185 and 6' 1. I 've always worn a size 12 Nike and do with these as well. When I 'm running slowly I 'm a heel striker which feels very good in these, but when I pick up speed I 'm more of a mid- striker which also feels good but not quite the same level of bounciness. I usually use them for 3 to 6 mile runs.

The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon. I also crushed my 5K PR in these shoes so I 'm loving how versatile and comfortable they are. Looking forward to trying out the Vaporfly 4 next! I ’ ve written this review 3 times but it hasn ’ t shown up- apologies if this is redundant… Great lateral stability but below average energy return when bouncing, sprinting, jumping, etc. all this shoe needs is a full length zoomx midsole or a combination of zoomx and zoom heel/toe pads, softer outsole and a reinforced padded tongue. If done, Nike would have a premier basketball shoe that would rival the GT and Nike signature lines.

Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

My nephew is 12 and still struggles to tie his shoes. It ’s not that he doesn ’ t know how, he just has some dexterity issues in his hands. As he ’s going into the 7th grade, I wanted him to have shoes that looked like everyone else ’s sneakers, but that he wouldn ’ t have to keep tying. We looked EVERYWHERE and he decided on these. He loves them. I will say, I am disappointed that they still tie. It makes sense that they do so the shoe is the right tightness on the foot, but I just assumed they had elastic laces for some reason. He loves these though. In true Nike fashion they run an entire size smaller than most other shoe brands. This is his first ever name brand pair of sneakers because of his limitations and I hope you continue to expand your accessible shoe collection!

Goo pair of she ’s. I am a beginner level runner. In these, I did a 5k and a 10k run so far. They are light and the cushion is better than my peg 39 shield pair. Not tried in the winter rain yet, will see that parth in warmer days. They are warm to feel in the cold weather. The soles are same as my peg 39 shield and storm tread sole is excellent for grip in wet or smooth surfaces, but the price is, it ’s impossible to clean once you got mud in. I had to go straight in garden and rinse it off, use a brush to remove the mud before it sets. I bought them on sale which seems OK price but would not pay full price. Buy at least half a size up, as they run a little small. Nike have never got the sizes right or consistent.

I have run and walked in a variety of Brooks styles over the years, and I have really enjoyed the Launch 11 for walking. I work on a university hospital campus and like many coworkers, I wear running shoes quite a bit of the time. The Launch 11s feel comfortable and speedy for long treks across campus. These feel better to me than the similar Launch and Ravenna styles I 've had in the past. I plan on wearing these as a daily driver and saving my Adrenaline GTS and Glycerin GTS for actual runs. I think these will be good for cross training, too. The colorway I purchased is a departure for me, but I like the style- especially after many pairs of grey or blue Brooks.

I love how light this shoe is and the slightly firm, propulsive feel to the midsole. Glad I ordered it wide because I have wider feet and the normal width would not have worked considering how snug the wide is. Overall, probably the best lower priced running shoe.

Whether you 're heading out for a run or just walking around town, the feel and softness underfoot are outstanding. For running, they perform exceptionally well. The FuelCell foam gives a nice propulsive feel, which helps reduce fatigue on longer runs. They 're light, yet cushioned enough for recovery days. That versatility makes them a great pick for people who want one shoe that can do a bit of everything. As for everyday wear, these shoes definitely hold up. They 're comfortable enough to wear all day, even when you 're just walking around. I took these with me over to Melbourne and walked around all day, no issues or discomfort at all! Great for all day and heavy duty wear! That said, the only downside for me was the colour — white. While they look sleek and clean out of the box, they didn ’ t stay that way for long. I do a lot of running outdoors and dirt, dust, and stains showed up quickly and noticeably. It ’s a shame because the performance is top- tier, but they require extra effort to keep looking fresh.
