[ I have hiked 1000's of miles on Asolo boots over the years and had many models. This one runs a tad bigger ue I have always been a 10 in the boot line so I would say it fits more like a 10. 5 but comfortable. Very rigid sole, which I look for in a boot and slightly on the heavier side, which does n't bother me. I did see where someone complained about a stitching clustster were the toungue is sewn together amd that was rather uncomfortable as it sat directly beneath one of the lace locks. I took a pair of flat nose pliers to the material wad.. for lack of a better term.. lol and worked it over a bit w the pliers squeezing and turning wo tearing it! So do n't go to crazy just cruah it down and it solved that problem rather easily. Great boot. Fit is larger. Crush the extra material to soften it.

As someone with a lot of foot problems, finding shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and that look nice had been a challenge. After trying similar LL Bean and Timberland shoes, I finally got the Moab 3 from Merrell. After 4 years of daily use and frequent outdoors activity including outings with my son's scout troop, the upper started to crack where my foot flexes. The sole and lining was still in good condition with reasonable wear. I have been buying the breeze boot for about 20 years now. I would agree that the laces need to be a bit longer so you can double tie them. On zappos web site they advertise that the 7742 has gore tex lining and vibram soles, you might want to check on that one. Other than that the boots are really comfortable.

I 'm now looking for a new pair of the 7742, but I see much to my disappointment that the outer sole is no longer Vibram. The part number is the same, but the sole is n't. I wo n't bet my life on anything other than Vibram, so that's the end of the Breeze for me. RIP.

He has a similar version without the extra black textile on the side but they really stretched out. The black textile seems to help hold the shape of the shoe better than just suede. I have severe neuropathy in my feet due to permanent nerve damage from Lymes disease in 2014. By the time I purchased my first pair of Merrill ’s I was having difficulty walking due to the severe pain. These shoes have made all the difference. I love this shoe for it's stability and outdoor- ability. I do a lot of walking, training and working outdoors, and need a shoe with fantastic support and stability due to a previous foot injury. The SFB is the bomb- totally fits the bill. It has a wide platform, is supportive but flexible once worn a couple of times and it's easy to clean. I have had some trouble with the rear of the shoe wearing out, and they are 'slick' before you wear them in, but these are minor things.

I 've been wearing these for work for the previous couple years. My first pair had the carbon shank, the second pair does n't have the shank. Either way, they 've made perfect work shoes. They 're tough, take a beating, and look cool too. You should go a half size up for a good fit as these do run a bit small. I have a wider foot, which this shoe accommodates perfectly. Please Nike, do not discontinue this one for a loooooong time. Haaa, love these.

I have two pair of the Vapor Glove size 10. They fit true to size. I have worn them on hikes, in the water, and while doing HIIT training. After wearing boots for over 30 years for the military& LE the VG ’s are a great way to “ heal ” your feet. HIGHLY recommended. In general, I am a Merrell's fan, having perhaps 8 pairs currently. This is my second pair of Vapor Glove 6's. As someone who enjoys barefoot shoes and wide toe box, these shoes check all the boxes. True barefoot feeling, adequate toe box, and so comfortable I tend to continue wearing them once in the house. I tend to wear size 10( depending upon the shoe), ordered 10's( my first pair as well and the fit is true to size. As a side note, nice to see the length of the shoelaces has been shortened. With my first pair they were too long, even touch the ground once tied.

I just ordered my second pair of the Rubatos to replace the ones I ordered a year ago. I walk about 1- 4 miles a day and have worn these on about 66% of those walks. They provide plenty of cushioning and support. I can wear these for long periods of time without my lower back and feet hurting. Suggestions to make this the perfect shoe: a little bit better ventilation, a little more width in the toe box and maybe add 1mm to the lugs. [ Im on my third pair and these have been a great `` in between '' shoe. The stiffness and stability is right in the middle of a lightweight trainer and the other adidas hiking shoes. The goretex and big soft tread are great when walking the dog through deep and wet grass. And the weight is close enough to a trainer to still make them practical for travelling or other walking activities. Compared to other adidas running shoes they are a little more roomy for thicker socks but not enough to size down.
