As a high school triple jumper I can say that this is the best triple jump spike on the market. I have tried other options and I can confidently say that if you do not have these spike you are at a major disadvantage in a competition. I have had 3 pairs and all of them are still in perfect condition to jump after 2 years I would recommend that you go a minimum half a size up if you would like them to fit snug. other than that I have no complaints about the fit. The cushion on the heel is in my option the best part about the shoe. It allows to be able to absorb the impact that face on the second phase of your jump while not taking away from that power that you can create on your first and last phase. The bottom plate of the shoe works exactly how you would want while performing your jump. the flat heal and aggressive toe design allow you to get the desired heel to toe movement that is so crucial in the triple jump. The carbon plate is very strong and helps create power in the third phase of the jump. In the next generation of the spike I would like to see firm feel of the toe much like the Adidas sp2 so that you can maximize the total push of that you are able to get in you last phase to drive you into the pit even farther.

The shoe is crazy comfortable and very light weight, which is great for its purpose of triple jumping, although the purpose I used them for was just running. I felt the shoes were great at being just running shoes. I loved the color of the shoe; so bright and new age without being too loud. My shoes didn ’ t come with spikes, but I ’ m guessing maybe that was just an oversight. This is not a shoe I would wear to go grocery shopping, but for a track shoe or even just a running shoe, it was great!
