The title says it all. I 'm not gon na lie- my main objective for a helmet purchase for my daughter was to find one in hot pink. There are plenty out there, but none of them are from brands that I trust or that carried the necessary impact certifications for caving. While we have not used it yet, it fits fine, is lightweight, and I have full confidence in its performance. My only wish is that there was a slightly higher end helmet available in this same color( like the half dome at least), but that's no fault of the Capitan. The helmet is perfectly capable, it's just not fancy schmancy and chock full of features.

Neither my husband or I wore a bike helmet in the past. This spring I bought an expensive bell helmet mail order and wore it two or three times before leaving it on the shelf for good it felt a little large too me and very uncomfortable. The helmet is light and pretty comfortable to wear. I have a big head and the adjustability is nice. Unsure on durability as I have n't used it yet due to canceled trips.

This helmet has a much better fit and overall feel than the BD half dome. vents great as well and looks amazing. I have taken many whippers and this has always protected me well.

I bought this helmet on a whim. I made a quick trip to Southern Utah and forgot my helmet. I ran into a local climbing shop the morning of my adventure, tried on every helmet they had and this one was the obvious choice. It's the most comfortable and secure feeling helmet I 've worn in 10+ years of climbing. My trusty helmet at home will now be a backup for friends, because I ca n't NOT wear this one after wearing it once. The chin buckle is simple, it feels weightless on, and the purple color is so cute. I 'd highly recommend.

Great for a beginner! This helmet has protected me from falling rocks while climbing while feeling so comfortable. I usually have issues with adjusting helmets to fit my head properly, and I love how this one is so easy to adjust. Better yet, it did n't cost much too.
