The elyte*** max driver has definitely flew under the radar unlike last year's*** max but the smoke was the first edition so of course there was more attention. The elyte*** max is a monster on toe strikes, producing long playable shots while overall being super forgiving, easy to hit straight and does not sit open. Spin and launch numbers are fantastic and do exactly what is claimed. If you would put the core model, the X and triple diamond together you come out with this beast. Hopefully more people give this a try, just a beauty to look down on at address. This is a really good driver from Callaway!

Best driver that I ’ ve owned hands down! I was a Taylormade loyalist for years going all the way back to the bubble shaft LOL. Switched to the Callaway AI Smoke Triple Diamond Max last year. It was a great club, but the Elyte version is simply better. My SS is only about 97 or 98 right now. I ’ m hitting this thing consistently over 260 on a good strike with 149 mph ball speed. I switched from the MMT 55g reg flex to the Tensei AV series blue 55g stiff flex. I ’ m even getting 250+ out of off center strikes( launch monitor validated). I ’ m glad that I took advantage of the 50% trade in bonus. Consistent forgiveness, straight,& long. What more could you ask for?

I first set foot on a golf course in 1995 at Nevis and the fellow I was flying for rented me a set of Callaway's. Since then, I have wanted a custom set of Callaway clubs. Last year I bought a complete custom set of irons, pitching and sand wedges with a three wood. I 'm seventy and this year could only get 140 yards out of my thirty- year- old driver. The experience I had with the Callaway three wood made me think I may do better with a new driver, so I bought the Star for its light weight. I 'm now driving 170 yards but that is n't the best part. It is very easy to hit good drives with this club. I 'm not topping balls or making other miss hits like I used to with the old driver and that alone removes strokes and adds yards to my game. I have played with the new driver twice and last time out I broke 100 for the first time. I enjoy my Callaway clubs very much and the Star driver has changed my world. It's worth every penny and more.

Easy to hit a bleeding fade as well as a draw without making cog setup changes. Spin is perfect( 1800- 2200 rpm depending on shot type). The look of the top line is perfect. It feels like it sits just barely open when resting on the ground. The shaft itself is amazing. Just soft enough in the tip to make a draw slightly easier but it mainly wants to be a straight to fade kind of setup

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! Was fitted into this club in my first ever fitting, and could n't be more pleased. I played a lot as a kid, and have been getting back into the game now in my mid- 30s. I purchased the Strata set in December to get back into things, but was slicing my driver to kingdom come; good distance but wildly inconsistent off the tee. The fitting put me into the X, for forgiveness; 9○ loft, turned down to 8○; hosel set to draw bias; and weight also set to draw. Shaft is the MC Tensei 1K Black 65 XStiff. At age 76 I was fitted for the Elyte 12 degree driver set at 11 degrees neutral. The driver performed better than expected at the course in distance and accuracy. I previously hit lower trajectories with a fade and roll out. First time using it on the course I hit 254 yards with a very slight draw and a center cut fairway. Throughout that round and subsequent rounds the driver continues to exceed my expectations in distance, accuracy, solid feel and I can control the trajectory in windy conditions. I received the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII Driver for Christmas 2023. I have been using it for two months and I love it. The all Titanium head has a great sound and feel. I get a lot of carry from the LS model and when the ball lands it bounds forward with plenty of roll out. The driver is plenty forgiving, too. Tried a bunch of different drivers a couple months ago and I hit the TSR4 the best by far which was surprising because it ’s supposed to be the least forgiving of the Titleist drivers. It ’s been longer and more accurate than my TSI2. On average it ’s about 15 yards longer due to lower spin and my longest drives are about 25- 30 yards farther than my longest drives with the TSI2.
