I ’ ve always been a believer in lower trajectory drives. It keeps the ball out of the wind and is much easier to follow. The triple diamond Paradigm does just that. I purchased the 9 degree driver and all drives, regardless of location, being on the range or on the course, theyve all been low trajectory. It ’s also helped with the straight drives as head placement becomes second nature as with the size and shape, hitting the ball in the center of the head, of which I needed to perfect, I ’ ve had straight drives with little spin since.

I bought this driver for mg husband for Christmas and he says it ’s the best driver he has ever owned! Loves it!

Really knocked it out of the park with the Paradym TD. One of the best sounding drivers I 've ever hit,& the feel out of the middle is just perfect: a crisp, low, thwack. Also more forgiving than expected when you miss one a little-- no knuckleballs and distance seems to hold up fairly well. I think this one will stay in the bag for some time. Well done!

Head: Paradym Triple Diamond, 9° Shaft: Project X HZRDUS 4th gen Black 60g 6. 5 I ’ ll start with the shelf appeal and looks. It ’s beautiful. The blue carbon looks subtle on the shelf, but outside it shines and is distinct without being obnoxious. There is no alignment on the top of this one, but I don ’ t mind that because it allows me to open and close the face more freely. The feel and initial hits were wow. I knew it was special and I heard the hype, but it ’s living up to it. It feels amazing. It has the “ crushed ” feel and mishits tell you exactly where you hit it. I didn ’ t like the weight back as much as I did forward. With the weight forward, I almost couldn ’ t feel the ball spin. Distance…ok…one word. LONG. Goodness gracious; anything high center with that weight forward and I hadn ’ t seen THOSE numbers before. Perspective: my current driver averages 295 yards. The Paradym average was 311 yards. Forgiveness was there. I will say it never ballooned on mishits. The heel and bottom strikes still rose, but I didn ’ t feel like I lost control of the spin. Fair warning, toe strikes will not go high. But Callaway ’s downrange dispersion claim was true. Minus the REALLY squirrelly shots, the dispersion was insanely tight. After buying it, I took it to the course( I bought it 2 hours before I was playing…I ’ ll say it was the easiest trade ever). I had time to warm up so I could get used to my new club. It performed just as well on the range and course as the monitor. Out on the range, I was getting a beautiful flat, mid- trajectory ball flight that was going forward rather than up. The sound outside is a beautiful, almost “ wooden ” sound with a hint of titanium, and not overly loud. Tee time: first tee. Boom. I had never seen that part of the fairway before. It ’s a 527 yard par 5 to open and I was 202 yards in for my second shot. Into wind, the ball never ballooned. It stayed flat. A little higher than the standard flight, but I never lost control of the ball. Forgiveness with it is awesome. The heel and bottom on the course never ballooned. That said, toe strikes will fall out. Downwind, this thing flies. High center bomb, and with the lack of spin, it was on a new part of the fairway I ’ d never hit from. Bottom line: it ’s got PLENTY of distance. People might think it ’s overpowered or you ’ ve been lifting weights. The feel is awesome and clear, the sound is gorgeous, and the forgiveness level is surprising. But why I titled my review “ this driver is a beast IF ” is because unless you got some swing speed and a relatively consistent strike, it ’s not going to be the best. It ’s very low spin and definitely won ’ t cover the worst misses despite being surprisingly forgiving. That said, if you DO have those capabilities, this thing will undoubtedly perform and I see why it gets so many rave reviews.
