Fantastic Shoes! Please do not stop making them. Please continue to offer the extra wide shoes in good colors. These are perfect in dark blue. So hard to find great extra wide shoes. These are it! Comfort is outstanding. Stability is great. Padding is just right. I appreciate the one piece rubber tread. I am fairly tough on shoes. A marathon a week give or take. One piece rubber tread always wears better than the current trend of contact patches. I burn through the edges and into the padding in just a few weeks with my running and walking style. The one piece allows the force of the step to transfer evenly without abrading and damaging the cushioning. I 'll always buy another pair but the last half of the shoes life is just as important as the 1st half. Thanks and Have a Great Day!

Brooks is the only brand of shoe I have found that will fit my wide feet, as I have to wear the 4E( extra wide) in size 11 to minimize blisters forming on the outside of my feet. Have 2 pair of Addiction GT5s and 1 pair of the Ghost 15 shoe. It ’s all I wear aside from some flip- flops in summer.

My go to every day shoe. They are super versatile and comfy. I wear these to work with jeans, skirts, athleisure style slacks- they go with everything. I personally love the chunky look of them and the white leather makes them more fashion- forward and versatile. I wore them everyday straight for a week in Europe and had no reason to switch to my other shoes. They wipe clean easily too. These are not my favorite Brooks shoes for running, but definitely my favorite for daily wear comfort and style. Stiffer at first then other ghost max but they loosen a bit with wear. The leather is also less breathable than other materials, but worth it to me.

I purchase the Brook shoes because I have severe arthritis in my feet. I tried a pair of Brook shoes on at a local store and felt that they were very comfortable. I went on line and purchased the leather Ghost Max L because the store didn ’ t have any leather shoes in stock. Once the shoes arrived I put them on and tried them out for the first time. First pair of Brooks, using them for work. Retail/food service. They really work for me, make a big difference on hard surface all day. They run small and narrow, but I was able to find a size that fits. I wish they were slip resistant. They meet my employers requirements( strange enough), but would be amazing for many others if only slip resistant. I wish the Ghost max 2( not leather) would come in more colors in wide. I would love to have them as everyday shoes in cute colors.

[ The only complaint I have is with the tongue of the shoe. It has a piece of elastic connected to one side of the shoe. It pulls the tongue to that side. I ’ m thinking about cutting the elastic so the tongue will stay straight in the shoe. I ’ m not a runner I bought them for their great fit, and durability.

I love the feel and fit of the Ariel GTS 24. My first pair was a pretty teal blue and I liked that it had color but was n't too wild because I like to wear them for everyday use as well as exercise walking and some running. They do n't look clunky and do n't make my feet look big. I decided to get a real neutral shade next so I got a greyish beige style. Most recently I got the Mercury/ebony/sweet lavender and this is my favorite color so far. Very neutral overall but the lavender part adds a lot of style. They are a very supportive, stable shoe which is important to me as I am in my 70s and need that. The only negative is that this most recent shoe did not have the same type of shoelaces as the first two pairs. Those laces stay tied even when you do n't double- knot them. The laces on the newest pair are flatter instead of round and I always worry they will come untied if I do n't double knot.

Learn from my mistake and heed everyone ’s advice to order a half size up from your normal Brooks size and avoid the return& reordering process- so so so comfy for walking but definitely run a little smaller than other styles.

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks. The first 2 were sent back on the Brooks run happy guarantee with no hassle. I have particularly wide feet and have had to go up a whole size( instead of half as usual) and go for the MENS( I 'm a woman!) Extra wide versions of these Brooks. Totally gutted they are phasing them out and hope and pray the ghost max 3 will have the same fit in a size 6 XXW! They are comfy, bouncy and soooooo padded around the heel, they 're perfect.

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for about 20 years and have tried several different models. The Addictions Walkers were the best for my job, police officer. However, it took me a while to find the right model for everyday use, after work. I have hip and lower back issues. The Walkers were not good for long period wear. The Adrenalines, Glycerins, Ghosts, Beasts and Addiction GTS are all mostly for running and wore down my hips and back. When the Ghost Max SE came out, I tried them on and the difference was amazing. I walk with my wife on a track that, with the other shoes, I could only make it once around because of the hip and back pain. I now make it around three times with very little discomfort. I bought my current pair the end of January and intend to buy another before we go on vacation in Florida the end of August. They are not only great for comfort, but also stylish enough for casual dress. Thank you, Brooks for developing these great shoes. The customers who got them as a complimentary sample are very fortunate.
