[ The shoes are form fitted to the foot and have a nice snug feel without being too tight on my feet to limit the amount of hours they are worn in a day comfortably. I used the initial insoles that came with the shoes and were quite comfortable, however once getting custom insoles specific to my foot, I would say these could very well be the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned. The foam base is not over- sized and provides good foot and ankle support while walking/running. The shoes are very light weight and have good breathability with the upper portion of the shoe being primarily a mesh type material that allows for good air flow and helps to keep your feet cool while wearing, even though they fit snugger than most pairs of shoes.

I have been buying Adrenaline GTS for YEARS, several pairs a year. And these were the first pair I did n't slip into and did n't love immediately. I have been waiting for Brooks to develop a laceless shoe for at least four years. This is a great start to a shoe line that I hope will be around for several years. The fit is perfect. Easy to put on and take off. The ideal fit for my feet. The added padding around the achilles and ankle stabilizes that area from excessive gliding for me. From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. I 'm a flat- footed monster with wide feet and if the shoe does n't fit while I 'm running, it can get extremely painful. The Pegasus always seem to deliver for me. I started wearing Glycerins about a dozen years ago, 2 pairs per year, as my daily walkers, 3 to 5 miles per day. I used to wear the narrow size, but Brooks did away with the narrow size, and asked me to try the medium size.... I learned my left foot is narrower than my right foot, so with the easy to adjust lacing system, just had to tighten the left side a little more than the right. This year, I ordered the Glycerin 22's. These shoes are easier to put on and remove due to an improved lacing system. Their shock absorption is great. and these shoes look good.

I ’ ve only done a few runs in these trainers but so far absolutely no complaints. I run with a heel strike, and I have found the cushioning and the support around the heel of the trainer really helpful for this. Quality is excellent, though I have come to expect that from brooks! Fairly snug fit so I had to go half a size up from my usual size, but now they fit perfectly! I also love that brooks offer the wide option too!

I have been buying Adrenaline GTS for YEARS, several pairs a year. And these were the first pair I did n't slip into and did n't love immediately. I hated them instantly, they were too soft, too different then I was used to. I felt that if they were going to drastically change the Adrenaline GTS's they should have just come up with another line of shoes and not touched my perfect shoe!! I was upset. Everything that I had loved in a shoe was lost. BUT I kept wearing them, and about two weeks of wearing them everyday and complaining I fell in with them. It did take a while, but I just needed to continue wearing them. I have been wearing them four months now and I have zero complaints now and am looking at other colors. I went from hating them to loving them, so just give them a try and you may also fall love with them. Like my previous pairs of shoes from Brooks, I had to size up a half a size.

One of my favorite so far. Ranks up there with the Asics Novablast but maybe a little bouncier which is a good thing to me. I used to always run in Pegasus, but then I was having problems with the heal counters messing with my achiles. The Invincible puts no stress at all on my Achilles, and is still a pretty fast shoe for a mid- striker like me. Even with the high level of cushioning, it feels stable and is n't as sloppy as the Asics Nimbus was for me. For reference, I have a high- arch foot that is probably on the narrow side, weigh 185 and 6' 1. I 've always worn a size 12 Nike and do with these as well. When I 'm running slowly I 'm a heel striker which feels very good in these, but when I pick up speed I 'm more of a mid- striker which also feels good but not quite the same level of bounciness. I usually use them for 3 to 6 mile runs.

I love this shoe. Compared to the Novablast 4 the 5 is somehow both slightly softer and bouncier. For me it is a fantastic and versatile running shoe. It is also a great looking shoe. The only element that is not an improvement is that the toe box is not quite as roomy as the 4.

From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. I 'm a flat- footed monster with wide feet and if the shoe does n't fit while I 'm running, it can get extremely painful. The Pegasus always seem to deliver for me. Neutral running shoes work the best for my flat feet and I 'm so happy with my purchase. I look forward to using this bad boy as my daily. I 'm 5' 1 '', and wear a 6. 5 in womens running shoes. Size up half a size for wide footed monsters.
