[ I love these pants. They fit well, are comfortable, and I can get away with wearing them to work. I bought them because I previously bought the Halle pant and wanted a straight leg version in a different color( so I never have to wear another less comfortable pant to work). My only complaints are based on what I think are a few with reductions from earlier versions: I prefer my older version 's fabric, which seems a bit thicker and softer. I also think the older version might have had a double snap on the leg, which I like better too.( One on each side.) Finally, the waist tire was frayed at the end( nothing duck tape could n't fix). These are certainly not deal breakers, and I still wear these pants every week. Before I got these pants I mistakenly got the Halle II. Even with a post pregnancy body, the extra room in the waist on the Halle II bunched strangely.

These pants were perfect for a cold day with 40mph winds and 15 degree windchill hiking at 12, 000 feet in the alpine in January. They were totally windproof and I was actually warm when we were ascending, but perfect temperature when descending. They fit fairly narrow, so if you are planning on layering underneath I would recommend sizing up. The velcro at the hips helps customize sizing and I really love the higher rise on the waist. These are my go to pants for non - skiing winter adventures.

I have awkward measurements, pear shaped and honestly have tried on all the hiking brands. This pair is just right. The waistband is flattering and comfortable, length is fine too. I 'm 5 ft 3 tall and 158lbs currently. Medium was just right and I can even wear a thin layer underneath for cooler hikes.

Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium. I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. I have been looking for a pair of pants like this for ages and this is the perfect pant.

[ I 'm 5' 4 '' with a waist of 39 '' and a hip of 46 '' and the XL fits great! The legs are baggy as pictured and, for me, the waist is very high rise to get the cropped length. If I wear the pants under my belly button, they are more ankle length. The waist band tends to rise when seated and I do have to adjust when standing but I find that most of my pants do that regardless. I got the canoe color and it slightly see through. If you were to wear black or dark brown underwear you would n't be able to see the underwear itself but it would show a shadow. Overall, love and looking at ordering in more colors.

I had a pair of these about 5 years ago when I walked the Camino in Spain. After walking, I backpackad throughout Europe for the next 12 months. These were my only pants. They are durable, lightweight, breathable, dry fast and I loved them for all of that plus the zippered pocket that kept my wallet and passport safe in Paris when two friends had theirs stolen. The majority of the time I hand washed them since an actual washing machine was wishful thinking. Fortunately, they do n't hold onto sweat and stink like some man - made fabrics so a sink, some warm water, a little bit of soap, and some elbow grease kept me from being too socially unacceptable. Did they pill? Yes, between the thighs. So what. The zippers held, no seams unraveled, the front button did n't pop when I first wore them and was too fat for them and the drawstring was a lifesaver when they were too loose when I finished. Ladies, these are a perfect pant. I just bought a new pair. It 's the right time. Adventure awaits!

Love these. I have two pairs in different colors. I get many compliments on them while hiking. They are comfortable and the waist height is perfect. Love the side zipper pocket AND the back zipper pocket. For sizing, I am 5' 4 '' and a muscular 130 pounds, and the size 4 fits me well. I hike frequently in the Grand Canyon and these pants have withstood at least 4 hikes in there so far. I am also a climber.
