We bought the Yeti 65 as a family of 4 for weekend camping trips. It ’s great for storing frozen/refrigerated goods. Shortly after we bought it, we had tornados come through and knocked power out for a little over 24 hours. We immediately threw our freezer foods in the cooler without pre- cooling first. I was shocked that all of our frozen foods were still very much frozen after 24 hours without having the cooler down to temp. 10/10 recommend.

This is our first Yeti cooler and we 're very happy with how it performed this past weekend. Here in the AZ desert highs were in the 90's with plenty of sunshine. It was easy to pack. The contents and the 2 bags of ice stayed cold from 3am Friday morning through Saturday night. We were in and out of the cooler pulling ice for drinks. As expected, the ice melted but the water was still quite cold to the touch Sunday morning. We 'll be investing in a smaller chest to keep ice in for beverages to minimize raising the temp in the food cooler. Is heavier than expected, definitely `` solid ''!

Love yeti coolers for a variety of reasons. They 're built tough and use quality materials.( We have one of the original white ones purchased in 2008 and it still looks& works great!) I specifically wanted one with wheels because as a 5ft. tall female, when the cooler is fully loaded, they 're quite heavy to lift. I 've owned the cooler for ten days, taking it to the ballpark on the past two weekends. The Roadie 15 contained everything I needed to play a doubleheader( sports drinks, protein bars, soda for after the game). However, the upper left- hand corner of the cooler appears to have been discolored by the sun, leaving a whitish hue that contrasts with the otherwise even purple tone. I keep the cooler in the shade to prevent ice from melting, so I do n't understand why the discoloration would have occurred. It's like a sunbeam was focused through the lens of a magnifying glass. As you can see from the attached photographs, the blemish could be mistaken for glare, but it's not( see closeup). I can live with the discoloration, as it adds a bit of character, but I did n't expect a blemish like this to develop after a week of ownership.
