I bought 4 of these for my grandchildren to wear under their lacrosse gear. The size guide was spot on and the shirts did exactly what we wanted them to do which was to stop their shoulder and elbow pads from pinching them. The benefit we did not know was it kept those pads from shifting during play. The shirts do not hold body odour after washing and they dry quickly so can be washed in a hotel sink and hung up to dry. 4. 0 is the best base layer for the price. My kids are competitive skiers in the Northeast. Our winters are harsh and with windchill the temperatures can drop below zero. Using these 4. 0 as base layers helps to keep their heat from escaping. They hold up well through washing and the boys playing/lounging in them after skiing too. [ I really enjoy this top. Not too thin and not too thick. My favorite on this top is the side pocket that can fit your phone, but won ’ t move around and cause your phone to fall out during a workout session. I also love that you have thumb holes in the top and can also fold the sleeves back on the top if it ’s too long. I ’ m more in between sizes right now( meaning too big for womens sizes but too small for plus size) but I had no issues with the fit of this top. This top fits true to size so if you ’ re looking for a fit where you can put a undershirt underneath, you could size up.( In my case, I ’ m normally an XL, but got a 1X). The material is really soft and doesn ’ t feel heavy. I only wore this top casually but I could tell with the material that you wouldn ’ t be too hot in it if working out. Being able to roll the sleeves up and adjust the zipper could help with the heat as well. The only thing I would probably change about this top, is possibly adding a zipper to the back of it to add in extra items you may be carrying when out and about.
