I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

I like that it ’s a little long because most medium shirts are hardcore belly shirts when I pick my arms up a little.( I ’ m not that type of guy) If you are than this shirt might not be for you. I have a snap button shirt this will go under on my backpacking endeavors this summer. It seems like weight enough to be worn under something without being too hot but I guess we will see. Being light weight makes me skeptical about its ability to resist wear and tear, however I can ’ t speak from trekking experience.

A great short sleeve. Machine wash& dry completely fine. The elasticity of the fabric is smooth to the skin. Protects your core and shoulder areas from UVs. The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. The waist has a room yet it's not too wide( I 'm 6' 2 190lbs athletic build). The only caveat is the color option. Definitely need more colors including White to make the line up more versatile in both short and the long sleeve in Crater Lake.

I am 180cm 65kg and I fit both S and M. I have it a total of 4 times. I also own other Fjallraven t- shirts but this is my favourite. My job is not physical but allows me to have a casual wear and I use this shirts a lot. I am only adding the following to address the other bad reviews. The tag, just remove it. I find so interesting that other customers just didn ’ t do it. If there is an answer about “ well for the quality of the brand I would not like to so that ” Fjallraven is a outdoor brand so if you are comfortable getting muddy, sweat, and dirt in this t- shirt, you probably also do not care about removing a tag or the cotton pilling a little bit. It will not maintain a smooth line fabric but the feeling and comfort doesn ’ t decay.

Reviewing this from the POV of an end user& tech fabric geek. Love the materials of the MH AirMesh. Already have the hoody; just bought the crew. Agree w/ those who say it's very warm when at standstill or w/ a wind layer over top, yet while moving or with wind and no wind layer it's like being naked. To me that says the fabric is functioning precisely how a base layer shoulder. Only con is hypothetical: delicate fabric. I 've had no issues with snags, pilling, abrasion, etc. But I would n't be surprised were I to, given the softness of the fibers and the openness of the fabric they 're arranged into. Cut/fit are unremarkable w/ exception of the somewhat high neck hole and the different accent fabric used there. Packs tiny, resilient fibers bounce back into shape immediately. Most comparable to the Patagonia Cap Air wool base layer, minus the itchiness/roughness and the ultra premium price point. Also, like Polartec Power Stretch pro, but much lighter and more airy fabric, fwiw.

In the first image, it is very light and breathable, but the fibers inside seem to be easily lost, and there are some fibers in the hand after a little scratch. I am 167cm tall and my bust is 98cm, so I wear a size M which is very comfortable. I bought 2 at the same time, for me it should be good for sweating a lot without losing warmth. Recently purchased this shirt at a local outdoor shop. Probably the best fitting shirt I own. At 5'11, 180lbs, I typically fall right in between medium and large for most brands. Medium tends to be on the verge of too tight and large tends to be baggy. The Ovik twill in medium is a perfect fit. Got this to replace a 25+ year old Nike ACG baselayer that is still wearable. I bought this for it's slick and soft material, color( I love brighter colored base layers) raglan shoulder sleeves and OR's size/fit. This is actually my first OR top I 've ever purchased and I am so happy that the fit is perfect in the body/torso and sleeve length. Follow the size guide and know your own size dimensions and you ca n't go wrong. I ca n't believe how this extremely ultra light layer keeps me so warm. I work out to look and feel good and so often the clothes I find from retailers are made for guys 6 feet plus with a flat chest and no butt. Not so this product. Amazing shirt and a go- to for me, especially for personal travel. Material has a linen type feel but does not wrinkle and holds its shape much better than linen- more durable. Also not scratchy on the skin like some cheaper alternatives. I ’ ve only owned a couple of these for a month or so, but I think I ’ ve found the perfect summer shirt. Stylish, versatile, comfortable, and wrinkle- resistant. I wore it for a beach day this past weekend when I wasn ’ t on the water, am thinking of how I can dress it up for a casual summer wedding next month, and won ’ t leave on any summer trips/vacations without them. I usually like a slimmer fit, but this is a perfect relaxed fit. I ’ m not swimming in the material, but it ’s also very airy and comfortable, and just fitted enough to look really nice. I can ’ t thank Fjallraven enough for carrying size xs in men ’s!! If I had to pick a gripe with the shirt it ’s that it doesn ’ t have 100% full mobility when completely lifting your arms out and above your head, but I also know that ’s not what this shirt is intended for. Terrific product and a fair price for how exceptional it is.

The Freewheel Short Sleeve Jersey is more like a daily driver shirt over a traditional jersey. You can wear it daily for day to day tasks then hit the trail after work. The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog. I took the shirt for weekly rides on local trail heads in MD in spring and on the Santos Trails in FL on a work trip. The stretch is nice when you catch a sticker bush and length is nice if you have a long torso. The only con in my opinion is that a bring color would be nice for hunting seasons. I currently have the blue shirt and it looks good.

I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

Huge fan of this! It's a go to for slightly warmer to hotter temperatures. It's comfortable and feels far more breathable and quality than alternative sun hoodies on the market( REI Sahara sun hoody) Also, the protection I get with it from the sun is amazing. The hood is more oversized so it's easy to wear over a helmet or to sorta pull to the side to provide extra protection from the sun-- even when you 're just driving and there's bright sun coming from the side window. I own two and am dreaming of a third!

Excellent quality, XL fits me perfectly, I am 6' 0 '' 190 lbs. Super comfortable and perfect when a heavier weight hoodie might get too warm. Breathes well, I wear this trail hiking in cooler mornings in Arizona. I really like the hood, I pull it up over my cap to protect my neck from the sun, and unlike other, fruit flavored hoodies I have, it is roomie enough not to be constricting, and the geometry is perfect to stay up without blowing down. I wish it was available in black and some lighter colors.

Does the job in terms of good sun protection. Gets stinky very quickly, so you pretty much have to wash it after a single day of use, and it stains very easily. Other than that, no complaints.
