We went to Dick ’s after school because the zipper had broke on my son ’s old backpack. He liked the Jordan one of course, so I bought it for him at the store. This is my third borealis I 've had a couple years currently I use this one I have for work and it's an awesome day pack. It's blue. I love the material and it gets me to point a to point B. I love the leather bottom adjustable straps and the side cupholders seems very durable compared to the previous models. As far as it is standing up that's a game changer for me but the way you fix it is stretch the bag out. It will stand up on its own when it's filled so if you 're looking for a workhorse backpack, check out the borealis plan on buying another one all the best. Have a great summer.

Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

We absolutely love this bag as our personal item( as long as it's not overstuffed, it fits easily under the seat) to bring our toddler's plane snacks, toys, tablet, and other travel essentials along with a smattering of items we want to keep on us instead of checking through. Ordered this backpack for my 8th grade son online because this backpack was not available to purchase in store. We received our order quickly. Everything looked good with the exception that 5 of the 7 paracord zipper attachments were missing. Normally it would not be an issue but the zipper pulls are pretty small so it would have been nice to have the paracord attachments that they are supposed to come with. I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

This is my third borealis I 've had a couple years currently I use this one I have for work and it's an awesome day pack. It's blue. I love the material and it gets me to point a to point B. I love the leather bottom adjustable straps and the side cupholders seems very durable compared to the previous models. As far as it is standing up that's a game changer for me but the way you fix it is stretch the bag out. This backpack is almost unreal. It makes the weight feel like about half of what a normal backpack feels. I got his as a present for my brother. He absolutely LOVES this backpack. While he really liked the style it's the protection for his back by reducing the feel of the weight through more even distribution. The backpack is cute and roomy. My little guy is seven years old. It is a little big for him but hopefully he ’ ll have it for a while. Today is the first day we ’ ve used it. I wanted to buy a quality backpack so he can use it for a couple years. Zippers always tend to break off- I ’ m hoping it ’s not the case with this one as well. My 9 year old son loves it. I got him the black bag with red letters and he was super excited that they match his Jordan 4 Breds. It also has a decent barrier between the compartments. He put a full bottle of water in the smaller compartment and it opened somehow and it got everywhere. But it barely let any water from the smaller to bigger part. He had his brand new school binder in there and it did n't get a drop on it. I emptied the bags placed it in front of a fan, and it was dry within an hour. Overall, I 'm pleased with the quality and price. My son loves it and his friends all want one.

Haven ’ t taken into the wild yet but seams to be built very well. Straps are comfortable and lots of space to carry your gear. Description says it can ’ t hold a laptop. Though there is not a dedicated laptop sleeve, there is plenty of room for one. Hopefully holds up as well as my panga.
