Merrill ’s Wrapt shoe is the best one I ’ ve found to counter- act the sciatic pull n the arches of my feet. I have high arches and the Wrapt arch support rises to meet my needs. Great boot but I upgrade the insole. This is my second pair and im a hands on GC in Utah. I work new construction and remodels and these boots are great. I like them better than Brunt and they last. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. I am so glad Sorel got it right this go around with this version of the sneaker. The prior versions had this strange intense curve in the toe portion( perhaps that was designed to repel water during steps?) compared to an older model that is no longer available. The toe box is roomy too and the waterproof feature is great for both PNW rainy days and wet days here in the Midwest. My only criticism would be they are quite flat/smooth on the bottom so watch out for ice.

I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. [ I was looking for a sneaker that was breathable and would dry quickly for my trip to Costa Rica. These were perfect! Waterproof shoes are n't great for climates like Costa Rica's because they make your feet hot. Instead, finding a shoe like the PFG Castback TC that could get dirty, be washed in the sink/shower, and then dry quickly, fit the bill. I normally wear a 7. 5 or 8 wide, the 7. 5 fit me perfectly and the shoe did n't feel tight. The only thing I 'd like to see change is Columbia remove the `` blood n' guts '' label on the shoe physically. I understand that's a rating they give the shoe for the fact that those things can be cleaned off easily when fishing, but it's a bit weird to have actually ON the shoe itself. I 'd love to see some darker color options for this shoe for women's fit!

These shoes are super cute& trendy! I spent 10 days walking roughly 20, 000 steps per day in Europe with these- including a 6 mile hike& climbing multiple historic towers. My feet were never uncomfortable, I felt the shoes were breathable and sturdy/stable. There was less rain than anticipated but when it rained or there were puddles, my feet and shoes stayed totally dry. My only complaint is they did scuff/dirty and though they ’ re easily cleanable, the suede detail has remained grey after antibacterial wipes. I will try a more aggressive cleaning method though. As always, I size up by 0. 5 because all my Soren ’s run small.

I ordered Oxford dress shoes I saw my order confirmed for Oxford PTC. I liked how the PTC looked so I did not complain about it. When I get new shoe I usually have to buy a thicker foam insoles. I had to do that with this pair of shoes as well. I like how well I can walk all day in these shoes. Usually I buy hard toe shoes, but I am experimenting with the bumper toe. I already slammed my toes into a cart wheel, the bumper toe protected my toes, no pain. I am a nurse, moving fast, making turns. These shoes stay on and perform very well.

The shoes are well made and I can already tell they will be very durable in a greasy, dirty environment.( Transmission mechanic). The oil resistant does have a more open tread pattern so they wo n't collect the oil and dirt and cake up with it. However, these are not what I would call comfortable. The leather on the upper is very stiff and hard on your feet, the insoles are kind of hard. They are getting better as I break them in, but still not great. I 'm not sure I would buy a second pair after this one.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. '' We did n't rate durability, because the shoes are new still, but he does wear Carhartt work boots.
