[ I bought these gloves at the height of winter and I have not looked back. They are extremely warm and keep your hands dry in every condition. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

The gloves are amazing balancing the durability of leather and the performance of gortex. The gloves can be a little stiff but after a day of use they feel start to feel like a second skin. The details are really what makes this glove so great. The pull loop combined with the velcro cuff is a amazing mix that lets you put both gloves on in a matter of seconds. The gloves are plenty warm for just about anything, I 've used them down to below zero with wind chill with just a liner and my hands were as toasty as ever. I 've yet to have a issue with the palm leather wetting out. The only issue I 've had is that velco on the cuff can cause the material around it to fuzz up a little bit but it's barley notice able and is only a visual problem. Overall I 'd recommend these gloves for anyone who is looking for a great ski glove for the slopes, and beyond.

The mittens performed well above what I had expected. they are 100% wind proof and never let any moisture in. The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in- 25- 28 °F with a good 10- 15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. The recommended sizing for me was a M. I went up a size and they were snug, but very comfortable. The quality of these gloves are outstanding. I 've already recommended them to a few friends and family.

I have been using the OR Mount Baker mitts for the past decade and decided to get these for the really cold days. My hands are always cold but these could be too warm for many days. They are similar to the Mount Baker mitts but the shell is insulated allowing a thinner liner on warmer days without freezing. You do lose a bit of dexterity but these are crazy warm. These came just in time for me to shovel my driveway. I thought the elements were on the backs of the hands so was uneasy with gripping a snow shovel, but it must have been okay. I did n't think with the elements on the palms of the hands, that my hands would stay warm. But, when I got inside and took them off, my hands were warm. They are huge( I 'm sure intended for a man's hands), but I made it work. In the long run, I 'm very happy with them. Will probably only wear them at home because of the way they look on me, but that's okay too. Like that they run off of normal batteries instead of a power pack that could eventually stop charging. My hands always go numb from the cold below 15 degrees. I ’ ve tried top tier mittens and wool liners to no avail. With these mittens I skied all day at 10 degrees and two breaks and kept my hands warm. I used medium and low settings most of the time and still had half the battery left at the end of the day. Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.
