Moab 3 were comfortable right away. Too dry to test waterproofing but I 've had compliments on their look. I 've hiked in Madera Canyon near Green Valley AZ and will soon take them to Yellowstone for a Road Scholar Hiking trip.

First off they fit a bit small. I had to get size 5. 5 while my old Merrells were size 5. I wore them twice so far on easy trails. Did 8. 8km the first time and 10km the second time. I had no issue at all. They are comfortable right out of the box. Good support, I do n't need my orthotic insoles at all. I sank into mud and stood in the edge of the lake to rinse them. My feet were dry. Waterproof as advertised.:) They are warm though because of it. Might be too warm for summer hiking but I 'll see about that in due time. I am quite happy with my purchase nevertheless.
