I used this track to mount my fish finder and transducer mount in my kayak. It was narrow enough to mount to the top side of my kayak. However, you need access inside the kayak to attach the hardware. I ended up having to also purchase the YakAttack Fullback Backing Plate to ease the installation, which also provided more support for the attach mounts. It has a hook catch and water drip caps that are very useful. A small downside is the the paddles blade reinforcement that Pelican designed with only one narrow stripe. BTW, the Pelican warranty deserves a good review, I had an issue and it was addressed in a quick and efficient way. In total, I am buying a second one to the partner I will paddle with in my tandem kayak.

I enjoy using this paddle. I have the 225 centimeter length, and it is very light, at only about 30 ounces. The blades deliver force, while still being light. I paddled at a medium- fast pace on a calm lake, in about a one and a half mile loop without getting tired. I did not have gloves on, and the rubber grips kept me from getting blisters. The drip rings worked, but because of the asymmetrical design, when you lift the paddle at too steep of an angle water drips off of the blades onto you. Not an issue if you have a spray skirt. The paddle floats, and the two halves fit together tightly, so that there was not a single drop of water in side when I took it apart. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality, effective, and inexpensive paddle.

I purchased my Inlet for my 70th birthday, the first time I put it together was in my gazebo. Piece of cake. My maiden paddle was not full of grace. Getting in I sat on the back of the seat, getting out I nearly broke my hip. I must have looked a aight. Fearing I might have to return it, I watched a few videos to see how I could be more successful. A couple of weeks ago I went on a 10 mile river paddle. It was wonderful. My wife and I got kayaks for early Christmas presents so after looking online and checking reviews I bought two of these paddles. They are excellent quality and take up little space in the back of my subaru forester when the paddles are taken apart. Only negative thing I can say is I wish they were a little longer. Our kayaks are sit in and fairly wide, if you have similar kayaks you will want a longer paddle.
