I purchased this used a few years ago and it has become a staple for hiking, camping, travel, and festivals. After the first year I cut the drawstring and tied it in a knot, much better and more practical. The light blue color stains easy. Sometimes this shirt stinks to high heaven after short use, other times I can wear it for days without stank. Washes easy and dries quickly. UPF continues to work after many years of regular use and washing, it provides protection from the sun and mild wind. It's so soft against bare skin and comfortable to sleep in. I use as a base layer, except when I use to layer over tank top when it's hot, or wool hoodie when it's cold. The pocket and zipper is great. No complaints.

For me, it's the perfect sun hoody. I wanted something super light for hiking in the sun and just a little sun protection to prevent me from burning, because I still want the vitamin D. This barely weighs anything and I find it surprisingly durable for what it is. It's not tough by any mean, but I was worried it would deteriorate after a few uses. I have two minor complaints: 1. is that it's quite expensive for how simple it is. 2. The t- shirt version fit differently than this version, it was quite tight around the chest, I was expecting the same fit. The t- shirt version is great for working out in the gym on a hot day where they still insist you wear a shirt.

I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. I wear one of these almost every day at work in the fall winter and spring. It is comfortable, warm, and breathable. It ’s light weight and very versatile. For me it fits true to size. The thumb loops are very helpful when layering with additional insulating layers and the zipper helps dump heat when you need to. Buy more than one so you don ’ t have to wait for it when it ’s in the wash!

They changed the colors! I have many of these shirts I use for birding. Often, I 'm in a hot, horrible, jungle environment and the dark green helped me blend into the forest. Now, they have lighter colors. They have fantastic shirts, but now I ca n't get the color I need to do the activity I want. Some of us are not concerned with looking `` pretty '' when we are out. Some of us need good performance clothing!

I am a typical large or XL and have a large chest. The XL is perfect and fits my figure much better than other Columbia styles. I love the lightweight fabric and fit. I do n't feel stylish in it, but Colorado cute- great for daily walks and hiking. Washes well and wrinkle- free.

The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it does not have the option for rolling/snapping up the sleeves, and the small inside pocket does not have a zipper or means for ensuring that it remains securely closed.

I purchased this hoodie for sun protection on a recent 9- day backpacking trip. I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Furthermore, all the bug/blood/sweat stains cleaned up nicely after the trip and it looks good as new! As for durability and wind- proofness, I will bring it on my next two canoe trips this July and report back:)

Quite happy with this version of the Astroman! Still the same great sun protection and durability but the material seems lighter/faster drying somehow. Not sure how they managed that without sacrificing durability but so far it's held up beautifully! I 'm a sweaty hiker and it's pretty amazing how little sweat this shows and how fast it dries. This lil hoody is also extremely packable- have taken it on quite a few birding/hiking trips and long days bike- packing. I plan to take it to AZ this weekend for a friend's bday trip to really put it to the test( I 've been using it in Idaho thus far). Also- LOVE this pink color. I would buy anything and everything in this pink, so dang cute! I bought a Small and Medium and I 'm keeping the Medium- I 'm 5' 4 '' and about 140- 150lbs( 30 '' waist and 40 '' low hip, aka most of my weight is in my booty/thighs). The small fit fine, but I prefer a looser fit for layering and breathability:) And because this is a sun shirt, looser fit is best for the fabric to keep out sun rays, anyways. The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

I fell between sizes and sized up because it was described as somewhat slimmer fitting, but I had to exchange for the smaller size because there was plenty of room through the middle and enough in the hips( also does n't go low on the hips. The details are thoughtful. The fabric is slightly sturdier than other typical similar shirts, but it has the following vents and sleeves can roll up with tabs. I 'm thinking of getting another one in a different color..

Love the echo tops. This is my first because I 've been eyeing my husband's for a couple years now. It does n't disappoint. I do wish there were more color options for women that were n't so see through, the navy I got is great, but do n't love many of the other options. A dark forest green, maroon, rust color would be very appreciated. Going to try the Hooded version next! I went with a medium and I 'm satisfied. I work for the Depart of Food& Ag and spend most of my day in the field surveying& inspecting insect traps. This shirt with the extra pockets near the waste is amazing. Easy click buttons are nice, BUT, they have unspaped a few times if the shirt gets caught on something. I suppose I would rather have the shirt buttons un- latch than have the shirt itself tear. It's also nice that the UPF is strong. Another complaint is that is holds wrickles a bit well. However, all n all, it's a great shirt o highly recommend.
