As someone that tends to run hot, it ’s the perfect thickness for a bit of warmth but not something you have to take off once you get a little active. Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. Otherwise, warm and worth the upgrade.

Did n't really know what to expect since this was my first time buying `` FUTUREFLEECE ''. Assumed it was like any other fleece but I am glad I was wrong. The material is much more lightweight allowing for easier layering. The material is deceiving thin but is as warm all the other fleece jackets I 've owned.
