I wanted a timeless light jacket for hiking with my dogs that was n't a puffer. This one does not disappoint! I love the Indigo Blue as I gravitate towards cooler colors. I am usually between a small and a medium and got a small for a more fitted look.. I wear it over the grey Fjallraven Snow Cardigan. The hood is spacious enough for a toque and the overall fit is very flattering. For reference I am 5ft4, 140lbs, hourglass body type. Keep in mind this jacket does not have any stretch to it and the shoulders are a bit narrower. The sleeves are nice and long and the length sits just below my waist( I have a short torso). I have been reaching for it since I got it last month. Looking forward to Spring in Alberta to wear it more often!

As always, I ’ m impressed with the quality of these products. I am 5 ’ 2 ” and 112 pounds. I see complaints on the width of the sleeves, I have larger biceps, and this isn ’ t an issue for me.

[ All of my wife ’s coats were heavy, dressy- looking coats that weighed a ton. Because of her handicap, and difficulty walking, the heavy coats were a nuisance. I got her this Expedition Hoodie, and she has absolutely fallen in love with it. She was shocked at how something so light, could keep you so warm. Sometimes, when unable to walk, we need to use a transport chair. Sitting in that chair on a cold, windy day, unable to generate heat from walking, this jacket makes all the difference.

[ Excuse my bluntness, but you may need to bury me in this jacket because I 'm never taking it off. It's beautiful and cozy, I 'm obsessed. I got the chalk ivory with camel brown- gorgeous. The dual fabric is a great touch, plus I did n't realize the inside is lined with excellent fleece and great stitching. This thing is perfect inside and out. The hood does n't have drawstrings but is small enough and zips up high enough that feels like it would stay up nicely in wind. Zipper feels a touch flimsy starting at the bottom. Pockets could use zippers, although without this does feel like it can pass for an indoor hoodie and not just a jacket, and the lined pocket flaps are cool. The brown windbreaker material at the sleeve cuffs might be nice because I worry the sherpa will get trashed quickly, but oh well. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I got a medium and it is plenty roomy( not too much) since my other medium product felt too small. Whoever complained about taking this in the rain... shame on you, this jacket does n't deserve that!

[ I bought this a couple months ago to wear at work over my scrubs. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It has a nice sweater weave with a brushed fleece interior, which is soft. The style is really nice, and it ’s warm. The pockets are deep, however, you have to be careful because the pocket openings zip all the way to the floor of the pocket. They do zip up from the bottom so you can control to some degree the degree of pocket opening, but you just have to be careful if there ’s something you don ’ t want to fall out. Limited pockets which is expected in a light weight jacket, it has your two hand pockets and two exterior access chest pocket for your phone, etc. Highly recommend this jacket. I bought this with the intention of it being my main backcountry ski jacket, and not for rain so I ca n't comment on how well it is waterproof. But personally, it is somewhat of a heavy jacket for rainy warm weather. I loved it today in zero temps with a thin fleece hoody and wool shirt on underneath. I was a little concerned about how the stiff, tall collar would feel on my face, but it was great coverage and roomy enough so my neck gator fit underneath it just fine. I sized up in this jacket because I need to layer and went with XL which meant it was fairly long and covered my bum, but still surprisingly close fitting around the hips which is common for me in OR tops. It is a great weight for cold backcountry ski days, lighter than my older OR Skytour shell but heavier than the Motive. I am posting a photo. Love the color too. In the photo I also have on the insulated Snowcrew ski pants which were toasty on this bitter cold day!

I am obsessed with the Bessie Packable Jacket. It ’s everything I didn ’ t know I needed — lightweight, incredibly warm for how thin it is, and so easy to travel with. I love how it packs into itself and even turns into a pillow( seriously genius for flights or road trips). The fit is relaxed but still flattering, and the cinch at the waist gives it shape when I want it. I ’ ve worn it in rain, wind, and chilly mornings, and it holds up perfectly. The recycled materials are a huge plus — I feel good wearing it in more ways than one! Also, shoutout to the pockets — there are more than enough and they ’ re actually functional. I have been waiting for a hooded version of a packable puffer that was still cute, and after enjoying other Halfdays products for skiing, I was excited when I saw this in their spring collection this year. This jacket arrived several weeks ago and has been great for everything I 've thrown at it! It has kept me warm, dry, and cute on rainy commutes to work, mulching my garden, and taking my dog on a field trip to our local forest preserves. It has been comfortable in temps as low as 35 and as high as 65 or so for me, personally. I love how lightweight it is, and that is compacts down if it warms up during the day and I need to pack it away for my commute home. It is also roomy enough for layering underneath, and I enjoy the big pocket for storage in the back. 10/10 would recommend.

I live in the interior of BC, Canada, where it ’s often brisk in the mornings and evenings. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and 170lbs of muscle with wider hips and shoulders- this jacket in a large fits perfectly with room for a hoodie underneath while not being too tight on my bum. I ’ ve had this coat for a few weeks now and I love it. It ’s dreamily warm, looks fantastic and the pack down feature it really going to be great for travel. It has even performed perfectly on walks in temperatures well below freezing. I ’ m just over 5 ’ 6 ” and 150 lbs, athletic build and medium works well. It was slightly larger than what I thought it would be, as I am hoping to use it under a waterproof layer soon, but the small would likely have been too small. Still thinking it will work as a mid layer when I need it to.

[ I bought this jacket for a family roadtrip we did a couple weeks ago to Tennessee. We traveled from Florida- temps averaged in the 70 ’s, to the Smokies where the temps dropped to 22F some nights. I ’ m glad I had this jacket on hand. It ’s really well made, light and you can easily pack it inside it ’s front pocket. It turns into a cute little bag easy to store in a backpack for “ just in case ”. I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ” tall, 112lbs female and ordered a small size. At first I thought it ’s a little too big for my build. I honestly did not need another fleece jacket, but the Hybrid jacket caught my eye. It fits true to size and it is very warm! This will be my to go jacket when I am camping or backpacking. My only negative point is that I wish that the pockets had a zipper. I put my phone in one of them and it accidentally felt when I bent over to pick up something from the ground.
