Between Sizes

I LOVE these pants. Too bad I between sizes :( I'm 5'9" 142lbs. The 28 is too small and the 30 is way too big. The length was perfect (short). I wish they made a 29. The thighs were too tight on the 28's and the thighs were way too baggy on the 30's. I'm just hoping this review will help someone my size.

The 36 waist felt like a 32. I wear a large in ACG shorts, and a 36 in Dockers khaki. I'm curious where North Face is getting these measurements. I'm 6'2, 230 pounds and it was painful to button these pants.
