Love the slimmer sole design on Vaporfly shoes, and these are no different . My old pair( previous model) was a little snug, so I sized up by half a size( from my normal size which, interestingly, does work for the Pegasus), and these fit really well . I 'm not sure why these size a little differently that other models, but take note .

Love the Speed model for tempo workouts and up to ~14 mile runs . I prefer max cushion over 14 miles . The feel of the sole is slightly different( not as bouncy maybe) than the Speed 2 . Preferred the Speed 2 but expect I ’ ll continue to purchase more Speeds in the future .

The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them . Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon . I also crushed my 5K PR in these shoes so I 'm loving how versatile and comfortable they are . Looking forward to trying out the Vaporfly 4 next! Wow! What a Nike surprise! My daughter order the neon green ones for me on Monday afternoon and they were delivered by Tuesday morning! I wasn ’ t expecting that! These are pretty unique . Although, one of my feet is a bit wide and the shoe feels slightly narrow; my first impression was impressive! The best running shoe I ’ ve used for training, covering speed workouts, tempo runs, threshold efforts, and long runs . I relied on the Saucony Ride for easy/treadmill runs and the Endorphin Pro for race day . I retired my last pair of Endorphin Speed 3 after 450 miles but still use them for walks . While the Speed 4 is out, I ’ ll gladly stock up on the 3s if I find them . These Saucony shoes played a key role in my marathon training and race, helping me improve my PR from 5: 07 to 3: 47 . Shoes alone won ’ t get you a PR, but they do give you confidence .
